I rented the Pomo A "Day Use Area" for Fathers Day. What a disaster. It had not been posted as reserved so I had to deal with a family that had moved in early in the morning to "claim" the spot. The cabana was FILTHY. Garbage cans overflowing, the slab was covered in dirt and litter, and the roof structure was infested with ants. To make it usable for the day I hauled six bags of garbage to the dumpster and spent an hour sweeping and picking up trash. The USACE has let this once beautiful facility fall to pieces. What a shame.
