Great quiet place to spend time during summertime.

Very disappointed. Been on a road trip from Sedona az to San Jose Ca with my two daughters and six grandkids. The campground is mostly gravel, and although we paid for two sites and the camp was half empty they refused to let us set up a small tent next to the rv so we could be together for one night. In addition the WiFi barely functions and the lake was full of smelly algae. Today I need to drive back up a 6% grade for 14 miles to get back on the road to Death Valley.

People in the camp were behaving strangely Many of them had dry skin and looked like zombies. When they saw me, they ran towards me and attacked me. I barely saved my life Additionally, the radiation level is quite high.

This used to be one of our favorite places to vacation, that has all changed over the past few years. The roads are almost completely deteriorated, and drinking water has an awful taste. The park is being overrun with day use campers that destroy the campground and leave litter everywhere. The Park Rangers follow the residents and campground guests around hassling them for anything possible. Sadly this will be our last season, it has become more trouble than enjoyment.
