This place is absolutely horrible do not stay! The staff is unhelpful, useless and rude. The ‘maintenance’ men would rather chain smoke cigarettes than be of any help. They ride around on the golf carts all day avoiding guests who need help. The office staff would rather lock the doors and leave before helping anyone in the park. The office is never open when they should me. The pot holes all through the park are horrible and the bathhouses are always out of everything and disgusting. The staff would rather put an out of order sign on the stall instead of cleaning it. We have not had a front gate in the last two months because people refuse to fix things. The lake is discussing and you definitely can not swim in 0/10.

This place should not even be called a campground. Old, run down, in need of more repairs than I can mention. It was a great place 35 years ago but I do not believe they have done any repairs or maintenance in the past 35 years. Rented a villa that smelled so bad I didn’t even carry my bags in. Went to the office to get a refund at 1 minute past closing and no one was around. Called the next day and was told that there is a NO refund policy. Would give this place ZERO stars but that isn’t an option.

Was here more than a week ago. I checked their website for late check out and it said 8pm. I have proof. We got there to check in at 4:45 and no one was there. They have a sign that said they’re office close at 4:30. Usually, there would be a packet for those that would arrive late and put in a box somewhere visible. We did not see a box for it or sign that’d assist guests who arrives late. I had to call member svcs from TT and glad that someone was able to help me. This campground lacked on good customer service. It was very disappointing.

We were very disappointed with this campground. The campground roads were full of ruts and it made it very challenging to maneuver the potholes and make the needed turns. The campground itself was in need of major repairs and they put us in- between campers that are full time residents and all in need of some fixing up. It really looked shabby and I run down and there is just no way that I would not stay there again. I usually give good reviews and try to find the best in everything but it was a really a disappointment.

Went to check out campers for sale. Was greeted by staff at office and given information by them on others. They were kind and very informative. People who reside there were also friendly and communicative. The campground itself was beautiful, vvery clean. There is a putt putt golf course on site , a Cafe, clubhouse, store , and 3 pools . The view of the lake was astounding , and they have kayaks/canoes for use. Overall a pleasant experience and a beautiful place

First of all, let me show you the REAL photos of Lake Myers to give you an idea of what you have to look forward to. The store and restaurant are barely ever open, the basketball nets are missing the rims and hoops, not to mention the mini golf is laughable. It was covered in rocks, leaves and was flooded. The pool is in desperate need of repair, and the kids slide had caution tape on it. The staff is unbelievably rude and will not address any issues when you need help, and the bathrooms are gross. The washers and dryers worked about half the time, and the lake is full of garbage. In addition to all of this, they do not maintain the property; there were campers that literally had trees through them. I took pictures of two of the four campers that had trees fall of them during a storm. It is not safe, it's not maintained, and I would avoid this place at all costs.

The campground is quite pretty, and the residents are friendly. Unfortunately, this place seems to have water / septic issues. The entire campground lost water for 6-7 hours during a weekday, and there was some sewage back up as well. Not surprising as it sounds like the pipes were installed back in the 1960s. Three stars not because we had a bad experience, but rather, this place could use some serious TLC and overall is a tad below average.

FYI, 1) site B38 does NOT have sewer (along with another site on that loop). 2) sites B12 & B14 offer the potential of cars/campers getting hit by long campers due to tail swing. The office will not inform you of this, but full-timers in the park will. 3) There is a tree between sites B10 & B12 that has a lot of yellow jacket activity happening at the base of the trunk. The office was notified, but it looks like someone tried to unsuccessfully do something before, so it may still be an issue. If you like the active party-type campground, this it it. On the weekends in particular, you’ll hear lots of loud music right up to 11 PM, sometimes from bands as well as individual sites. Lots of golf carts zipping around, in spite of the tight one-way roads, which are not observed. The campground is well maintained, but of the older variety. It’s not really built for today’s larger rigs. That being said, they have a lot of nice amenities and is good for kids. We were told that the management is pretty new. The staffers working the desk are not very flexible when it comes to helping you. If you’re a Thousand Trails member, and you ask to move to a more accommodating site, they will site the rule, “we’re not allowed to move Thousand Trails members from assigned sites.” We’re assuming that’s Lake Myers’s rule since we’ve never heard of that at other Encore resorts.
