The only downfall would be no WiFi. I had no phone service to make emergency Calls or receive any. A great place for peace and quiet as well as a great place to celebrate a 60th birthday like we did.

What a fabulous place. We stayed in the cabins and were so pleased. The views were breathtaking and the cabins were cute, clean and comfortable.

I don’t often write reviews and I definitely don’t make sure I post them in multiple places but after our family stay at the Lake Naciamento Resort, not only am I doing both,I’ll be singing their praises to anyone who will listen for a long time. I was coming to the area to work over the weekend but we made a last minute decision to bring the family and make a little vacation out of it. We must have called a million times with a million different questions and honestly I felt so unorganized and like a pain in the (you know what) but the staff, especially GM Layla Decker, made us feel like family and I commend them all for having the patience of a 1,000 saints. By the time we arrived we felt like we already knew Layla and her staff thanks to a million phone calls. I cannot begin to say just how helpful they were. Not only did they answer all our questions and calls but they went above and beyond and called me to advise how the foggy weather could affect my early morning departures for work as I’m unfamiliar with the resort. To say we are sad to leave after such a wonderful experience is the understatement of the year. It was such a great feeling leaving for work knowing my family was there in such wonderful and helpful hands while I was away. Thank you, Lake Naciamento, Resort! We’ll be back!!! P.S. there are many amazing things to say about the resort itself and the area but we were blown away by the staff and their hospitality so I focused on that first this review.

I must start saying that i have been coming here to Nacimiento for over 20 years..... I have stayed in the resort and every RV I think they have...lol..... i never really write reviews but i feel i had to this time .....I stayed there this past weekend at RV02 by the store (RV was a little dirty where doors and outlets werent even working.......everything was fine until we would get visited by this big overweight hairy long hair kid that worked for maintenance saying that our music coming out of one cell phone was too loud...lol.....then on Saturday night he visited us again before he and his buddy went up the mountain where maintenance parks there vehicles to tell me that my voice is loud and it carries down to the lake from our campsite .... are you serious ?? very insulting ....and not to mind that he and his co worker would go up to that mountain parking area to not even come back down after hours ..... hmmmm....wondering what they were doing up there for so long where there is only parked maintenance vehicles up there....dont even want to know ... lol.....anyways,looks like I have to find a different lake.....sad

We loved our full-moon camping trip to Oak Knoll/Lake Nacimiento. The campground was quiet and hook-ups worked well. Staff patrolled several times a day. The campground is a long walk or a short drive to the lake where you can launch your own or rent a boat or other water craft. The camp store is fun with lots of helpful provisions. The only thing we wish we had access to was a group sink for dishwashing and the showers could have been cleaner. But all in all, a good trip and we'll be back!

Camp spot 301 PK, the spot was not what the description said. Haven’t been here in 21+years not as green as I remember. We made it work for our group. It’s on a slope not much flat space. The showers are clean, the bathroom stalls need a little more space (if you’re tall your knees will hit the door) our stay was 8/29/2025-9/1/2025,

This review is for the camp sites. We stayed in Oak Knoll's campground and have stayed there for over twenty years. It was great as always. I would like to see them maintain the electric pedestals or upgrade them. The one negative issues is that trash trucks enter the campground and start dumping the bins at 0550 in the morning. Can we hold that off till 0700am as quite time is over then?

Lake Nacimiento is beautiful. It has been our go to for over 15 years. Close to home and just all around enjoyable. Our most recent stay was in 1 of the Lakes RV lodging areas where they have trailers for rent. Quiet, peaceful, and rejuvenating. Absolutely 110% recommend.

This was my first time visiting this resort, and it was a good experience—even though we came during the 4th of July holiday. Because of the holiday, there was a 3-night minimum stay, and the only site available was Quail's Roost. It turned out to be a nice spot, close to the entrance but quite far from the lake. The area has some good things, like clean restrooms and private showers with hot water (although the water can get very hot). You can really enjoy being close to nature—waking up to the sound of birds, especially woodpeckers, and even seeing deer nearby. The good thing is that it's quieter and relaxing because it's far from the busy lake area. The only bad part is that it gets very hot in the afternoons. The store on-site is pricey but has everything you might need in case you forget something. There is also a pool, but it costs $5 to use. It's only open from Friday to Sunday. When I visited, the pool was quite dirty, so if they’re charging for it, they should really keep it cleaner. The staff was friendly, but if you need help at night, it’s hard to find someone. Also, be aware that they charge a security deposit. They have a noise curfew from 10 PM to 7 AM, and most people respect it—but some don’t seem to care, and the staff doesn’t do anything about it.

Crowded place, more like a cumbersome village. Beach area is occupied with tents, almost no shade. We were on the road and came here for last half of an hour before sunset to check if it worth coming for longer. They still charged us $12 to peek around. It's good we paid and got inside. It was a cheap way to decide to never return.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We just had the most wonderful weekend at Lake Nacimiento Resort, and I can't say enough good things about our experience! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The picturesque views of the lake were breathtaking, and the amenities were top-notch. Whether we were enjoying the stunning scenery or engaging in the fun activities, every moment was filled with joy. What truly stood out to us was the kindness and attentiveness of the entire staff. They were always ready to help with a smile, making sure we had everything we needed to make our stay memorable. It felt like they genuinely cared about our experience, which made all the difference. If you’re looking for a getaway that combines natural beauty with exceptional service, Lake Nacimiento Resort is the perfect destination. We can’t wait to come back and create more incredible memories! Thank you to everyone at Lake Nacimiento for such an amazing!!!!

This review is for boat rental only. The staff was friendly and the lake was beautiful. We rented an 8 person pontoon for about $700 for the day. This boat was so old it was comical. The speakers were kicked in and never replaced so make sure you bring a speaker if you want music. The captain seat fake leather ripped up and gross and the dashboard looked like it was from 1972- at best. The engine, which we believe was a single 60HP (it's so old and degraded you can't read anything on it) got us there but very, very slowly at full throttle. The ladder was halfway broken and sideways. Our friends rented the 10 person pontoon and thank God we had them to tie up to as their boat was fully working music and all and a decent, newer boat. But the 8 person- as a warning- it's awful and embarrassing to even be seen in. I would not be as unhappy if it was not $700 for the day vs. our friends in an almost new boat with everything working for only a couple hundred bucks more for the entire day. Spend the $900 or so and get a great boat. To the resort staff- get rid of this awful boat. I'm shocked we even made it back to the marina in that thing.

Our group camped at Sandpoint campground. The campsite was clean and close to the restrooms. I do wish that the restrooms were cleaned more regularly. They were only cleaned once during our four day stay. The trip was really great super close to the lake. My only bit of feedback is that they should update elevation between the different campgrounds and the lake. We were under the impression our campground was going to be flat and closer by then they were other than that it was a great experience. Definitely will be coming back for years to come.
