Loafer Creek offers spacious dry-camping sites suitable for RVs and trailers, though guests should prepare for a stay without hookups. Each campsite features a standard picnic table and a fire ring for evening campfires. The facility provides essential comforts such as flush toilets and coin-operated showers to keep campers refreshed. For RV logistics, a central dump station and potable water fill stations are conveniently located within the park boundaries, ensuring a smooth experience for self-contained travelers.

Nearby Attractions & Things to Do

Activities at Loafer Creek revolve around the water and the extensive trail system. Boaters and anglers will appreciate the Loafer Creek boat ramp, which provides easy access for a day of fishing or water skiing. The Loafer Creek Loop Trail is a popular choice for hikers and mountain bikers, offering beautiful views of the water through the trees. For a unique day trip, the nearby Oroville Dam—the tallest in the United States—and the Feather River Fish Hatchery provide fascinating insights into California’s water infrastructure and local ecology.
