We have gone a couple times a year for 20 years. It seems run down and most water sites you can't get to the docks because of overgrowth. Sites need gravel. Buildings need paint and repairs. This is our last year.

Alot for kids to do here, if you can get them away from the pool and hot tubs. 2 playgrounds. A kid friendly zip line. Beautiful beachy area by lake ( no dogs ). Nice dog park. Mini golf. Love band Saturday nights at the ballfield. Bike riding trail over by ballpark. Just so much to do. Safe place to let kids go while you relax by pool or at campsite. Friendly staff. Friendly campers for most part. Great place meet new friends. Highly recommend.

Seems like a very nice family oriented environment which is why we chose to camp here. In fact I'm here now. I am not happy with the way they handled a misunderstanding that they knew about, instead of coming and talking with me they basically allowed the other campers several of them to corner my family and let them yell and swear at us. It was a bad scene. But nobody has come to apologize or explain why that was ok. If I could get a refund I'd be gone today 8/17/ 2025, they've ruined my fun here people pointing at us when we go to the beach, like we are criminals or something.

Pemaquid Campground is a place for active families. This isn’t a place you go to relax on vacation. If you’re there with family, there’s tons of activities for kids: 3 playgrounds, pool, hot tubs, skatepark, tennis, basketball court, arcade. They also host events on the weekends. This place is packed. Tons of kids running and riding around, making it a very loud place. Not to mention SO many dogs that are not quiet either (us and our neighbors showed up to the sites covered in dog poop). The sites are very close together, so you’re enjoying your camping experience with your neighbors. There’s a bit of beach access, but it’s pretty overrun with ducks/geese, boaters, and fishermen. The views in the dock area are beautiful, nonetheless. Some of the campsites have a nice view as well, with their own small beach. They have a store in the campground with mostly everything you could need, and the staff running it is friendly and helpful. The check-in desk and boathouse had friendly staff as well. The bathrooms are ok, definitely camp vibes, but get the job done. You do have to pay for showers. All in all: the campground has beautiful views, and tons of activities. If you’re looking to have a fun vacation with family then this place will satisfy you. If you’re looking for a relaxing trip… I’d skip.

Love it. Hate that u can't stay more than 28 days. Don't get y that is but it's also June and the pool closes at 2 on Sunday didn't know that til I had everyone over and couldn't go swimming. And laundry is great but hasn't been open the hours it says 😞 but other than that which I guess it's not "in season" yet which I guess is y they were not cooking. Saturday. The atmosphere and the people r great tho

Large family friendly camping on a beautiful lake. Close to scenic shoreline and picturesque Maine towns.

Another one to add to our favorites! Beautiful lake with different boats to rent, a pool and jacuzzis, a sauna, an arcade, a snack bar, clean laundry facilities, clean hot showers (.25/5min), mini golf, skate park, at least 4 different playgrounds, and so much more! Would love to visit again. It's a lovely campground with spacious affordable sites. Also close to some neat attractions like the Pemaquid Point Lighthouse! My son and I enjoyed our time here!

My wife and I stayed at Lake Pemaquid Campground in our RV for four nights. The site sizes were average but price for power, and the water and sewer was one of the lowest we have seen in Maine. There is plenty to do in this family orientated campground. Swimming in the lake was pleasant when the pool was busy. Overall I a very good experience. I we will go back.

We took our 10 year old niece here for her first "tent" camping. She had a BLAST and asked if we could come back every year and make it a tradition. ❤️ So much to do for any age! Will definitely be back and recommend this campground to families who want a nice family campground feel.

Been coming here for years and in comparison to other camp grounds reasonably priced. The one concern I had has been addressed by the staff. I had a Genuine conversation in regards to it with the young man which goes a long ways with me. We really enjoy coming here every year with family and friends and we all reserve the same sites so we can have a relaxing vacation. Thank you.

My family comes here every single year. It's the perfect campground to bring kids. They have tons of activities and there's something fun going on almost every night! I can't wait for the summer time!

Has lots of nice amenities and activities going on. Definitely a campground for campers and not a lot of tent camping. The snack shack has lot of options and the breakfast sandwiches are outstanding. The pool is a fair size and there are 4 hot tubs perfect for a colder day. It’s also fairly close to Pemaquid beach for some ocean swimming. Overall nice campground with its of things to do and good swimming in the lake and pool.

Best "Glamping" spot in Maine hands down.

Very nice here. So huge!! Great for boaters. You can have your own dock.
