There's a homeless person making the one bathroom and shower her own. Not pictured is a note she left to the people who are complaining about her lol. I dont mind that a homeless person utilizes the shower but leaving your personal items like that knowing others will use the facilities is just gross. The campsites are very bad and run down. They do not all have power hookups as advertised. I managed to find one out of the several available that had power. The charge is too much for what is provided. I would pay maybe 10 a night but 20 and over is just too much. You don't get anything for that price. And there's nobody working even though there's supposedly a manager but I haven't seen him nor does he answer the phone. I guess without having anyone to know if he actually shows up or not, why show up? The grounds are in disrepair and there appears to be at least one permanent rv that clearly hasn't moved in ages although the listed stay is no more than 2 weeks.

We did not stay! No one answered or returned a call. Large RV’s DO NOT ATTEMPT. 2 mile narrow road with trees that can damage your vehicle A/C units. Rain caused road flooding and makes passing difficult. Small campsites. Low amp hook ups. Maybe 20 spots. Full. ***This is a beautiful place for small campers, lake fishing and quiet areas. Camping fees due upon arrival. LARGE VEHICLES and towing vehicles will have difficulty turning around if you enter the campers area.

The park and campgrounds is not the biggest, nor the prettiest in the state. But they are pretty well maintained. The campground is a but tight for large RVs and campers. Some spots are ok for tents, where some you'd be hard pressed to find a decent level spot for a tent. The park was clean and very little trash. Trashcans are all over and not overflowing with garbage. If you want to go fishing, there are 4 or 5 piers to do so from or you can launch a boat there. The restroom and shower was clean, but its a bit of a walk from the campgrounds. It costs $17 to primitive camp (no power or water) or $22 for power and water hookups. I believe they are 30amp hookups (I may be wrong and it's 50A). If there is no park ranger available, you pay by honor system. They accept cash and checks. At night it's very quiet there. When I stayed, the campground was about half full and dead quiet at 9pm. To be honest, I didn't think there would be as many people out here as there was. But everyone was on their best behavior and enjoying life. Sometimes, there is a park ranger on site. Sometimes, there's not from my understanding. The nature trail was pleasant and about a half to three-quarter mile walk. It's located at the edge of the campgrounds, opposite of the lake. There is parking there away from the road. The trail enters and exits at the same spot. Once into the woods some, the trail splits; both lead you back to that spot. There is plenty of shade along the way, a few bridges and an interesting observation area. There are benches to rest on periodically. Lots of placards that tell you what the trees are and what their uses are. The trail doesn't get used much, but I enjoyed it. Wasn't maintained great, but it didn't need any major maintenance either.

Lake Perry is beautiful! Lots of great spots to park a camper or RV. Each spot has a nice apron for parking, water and electric hook-ups and a nice grill and ring for a campfire. The bathroom has a toilet, shower and sink with a top to place your items. It's extremely clean. However, it could use an update. That's it. It's a very nice campground.

Nice spot , a little tight for our 40 ft rig , but there are a couple of spots that can handle big rigs . First come first serve . Because of size of our rig we probably won’t be back

We came in after hours and thank goodness there was an empty spot just perfect for our 35’ TT. Beautiful little lake! Very peaceful!

Stayed one night, very pretty campground. Nice, clean campground, and short walking trail. Shower water smelled a bit rusty or like sulfer maybe, but bathrooms were clean. Would definitely stay again, first come first serve, self check in.
