Lake Point RV Resort

We stayed 1 month at Lake Point RV last year. We loved the community and a well kept campground. This year the campground was in bad shape: grass growing over the gravel rv parking spaces, empty lots with trailers full of bins and household items/work materials and junk stacked around individual travel trailers. We met the brand new manager Stefani and she said things were changing and 1 week later it was quite evident. This is a beautiful property with gate access to Lake Ray Roberts, playground, dog park & of course friendly RVers and staff!

Easy check in, helpful staff. Site was pretty level. My auto leveling on my 5th wheel had no issues. Sewer connection was at the very rear. I had to use 20 more feet of hose to reach it. Water pressures were good. Use a water regulator. Pull throughs are what I like. Will stay here again. Also, Passport America is accepted here.

Very nice quiet park for a quick get away from the city. Close to Gainesville, Ray Roberts, and several wineries makes it a nice middle spot for camp. Full hookups and fast internet made it a really fun spot to get away for the weekend.

This reservation was made over the phone and was booked by Lake Point RV manager through the RoverPass system. Military discount was applied to our reservation. The park (please note I use “park” as my description in lieu of “resort” for this stay) is easy to find and navigate. Upon arrival I called the number left on the door and did not get an answer or message service. Another camper had a good direct number and Michelle was on sight within 10 minutes, but there is no regular staffed hours at the clubhouse/office. It is one large area with gravel roads and mostly level. Sites are easy to park and adequate space for larger RV configurations. Our site required minimal east to west leveling. Full hook ups all worked at our site, but some utilities can be long runs depending on type of RV (especially sewer). Bath/shower/laundry facilities are very nice and clean. There is a small center playground area and a good dog run. We had Verizon 5G hotspot signal which was adequate for our stay. I believe there is park wi-fi, but no information was provided at registration and we did not request since our hotspot was very good. Highway traffic noise is pretty significant here, especially if parked at the front of the park. The park itself was quiet and everyone was friendly; however, there are a lot of full time/extended RVs at this location. Amazon and package deliveries were made to the park.

FANTASTIC COMMUNITY!!

The entire campground needed some TLC. Our sewer cap was broken so we could not use it, There was dog piles next to our motorhome and over half of the stringed lights were out.

The park and facilities were very well kept. The hostess was so nice, she greeted us upon arrival with a warm smile and a hand shake. I'm sorry I can't remember her name. Highly recommend this park and will return when passing through.

Beautiful, clean RV park with nice amenities. Was a perfect weekend stay to get away from the city and people and enjoy some cute wineries in the area. Easy access and each winery was within 10 minutes away. Very quiet at night and short walk to see the lake. Would definitely visit again.

Wonderful place to stay whether it's full-time or just a short stay. Lake Point RV Resort has a beautiful cozy community room, nice large showers & a laundry room. Everything is kept neat & clean. The office has snacks & a few RV parts. Michelle, the manager, is super friendly and always so helpful. I'm so glad we found this place to call home.

This is a great place to stay. Super friendly staff. MIchelle is just amazing and helpful. So close to the lake you can go fishing anytime you want. Nice clean clubhouse with 4 showers I have never had to wait for a shower. Laundry room is clean and all the machines are in working order. They have a playground and a dog park that I unfortunately don’t have a use for but they look well maintained. Lake Point is a great place and very peaceful and quiet.

We stayed at Lake Point RV Resort recently. We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the place and how welcoming the staff was. The manager, Michelle and her staff went over and above to make our stay enjoyable. Helping us with our wifi, serving coffee and donuts in the mornings, and much more. It was refreshing to meet someone who enjoyed their job so much!

The campground is very nice. Clean bathrooms and laundry. Great gathering place. The office and staff are exceptional! They are stocking the store with awesome supplies. Like fire extinguisher and fire blanket. Great reminder to check your fire prevention. Also propane exchange.
