This was our 4th trip to the resort. Our first trip in the autumn, lovely! We never tire of the views! Resort is convenient and beautiful! The Marina Cafe serves great food!

We stayed at the lakeside villas with many family members also booking the villas nearby. For $270/nt (incl tx) in October that was not inexpensive, but we were there for a wedding so we booked 2 nights. The 2 bedroom villas are supposed to be able to sleep 6 if you count the pullout sofa. DO NOT count the pullout sofa as an option - it's the worst bedding ever. I called the front desk and they explained that all the villas have the same bedding so bring an inflatable mattress if you need to sleep 6. Overall, I am writing a mediocre review because the pullout sofa was one of the worst possible sleeps I have ever had. Location was great because we could walk to the conference center for the wedding on the terrace. Service was good although if I would have been given a credit for a lousy night sleep I would have given a better rating.

Always a good time with good people.. My friend got the room I thought her bed was cute with the wood frame. This is the 2nd wedding I attended there and it seems perfect.. worry free they take care of it all..

We were a large family group and rented 4 cabins. I loved the place. They have nightly entertainment for children and adults. My only problem is that the mattresses in the cabins didn't let me concentrate on sleeping. They are very uncomfortable. I think they could improve them. Apart from that we had a good time, it's a great time, you make your own atmosphere

Love Lake Raystown resort! We go every year. The campground is really nice and spacious. I wish there were some walking/hiking trails on the property. There is a nearby state park with hiking trails a few minutes drive away. The cottages are new and beautiful. The cabins are ok if you want to rough it, I prefer the comfort of a real bed and soft furniture. The lake and mountains are beautiful, it's so peaceful! The chipmunks will eat out of your hand.
