Really great campground. Paved road and concrete pads. Great view of the lake from all sites. Lowered their rates to be more affordable. Family friendly.

Sadly, as many campers are retired, this local campground is not going to be utilized as much. The website has the rates listed that we paid last year; however, when booking, they have almost tripled. Their rates are more inline with top notch KOAs with pools, etc. They have done some much needed maintenance, but have added no amenities to support the increase.

Very disappointed to find out reidsville campground has gone up to $75. We will not be paying that price! I hope you can come back down on that price we enjoyed staying there many times last year but $75 a night is just too much.

The new rates at Reidsville Campground are outrageous. Previously city rates were $23 and $25 and non-city $28 and $30 with monthly at $375 for city and $425 for non-city. Now they are $50 for city, $75 for non-city, and a staggering $600 and $1200 monthly. They cut a few trees, paved the roads, and poured concrete pads but the pads are unlevel, washed out, cracking, and too narrow. Sewer drains are often higher than your outlets, and picnic tables and firepits are comically randomly placed often away from your site. For these prices you get fewer amenities, a worse location, and poorly kept facilities compared to much nicer campgrounds for far less. This used to be our quick weekend getaway. At these rates we will never be back.

Camping rates are ridiculous here. I don't know if the city council realizes it, but the campground is still located in Reidsville even though you cemented the pads and did not even consider leveling them. There is nothing to do in Reidsville to warrant these high rates. You're trying to cover your cost in 6 months when effectively you're going to stretch it out over years because you're not going to have anyone staying. What good is a fire ring 30 ft from the campsite? I felt so sorry for the lady in the office being so embarrassed telling how much the rate had gone up. We have one more reservation booked at the old rate and that will be our last trip unless they come to their senses and lower the rates. At most, this should be a $45 to $50 a night stay for out-of-town people campers.
