Great location. No dump station. The dump station at the sate park is deep in the campground, as well a fee to use .

Easy access to Great River State Trail and we rode all the way to the Trempealeau wildlife Refuge. Fun to see large boats use Lock and Dam no. 6. And easy access to go boat ourselves. Clean campgrounds, bathrooms, and showers! They even have room for extra parking which was great when our daughter and soon to be son in law brought their boat to take us boating and to camp with us! We had a great time and we even were able to enjoy our Sunday with a late checkout time on Sunday at 3 pm. Loved it!!!!

Nice little campground. Nothing fancy but a nice little play area for kids, dog park, and clean bathhouse. Plenty of space at camp site, but power can be a long way from trailer inlet so have longer power cord or make sure you pull as close to it as the gravel parking pad will allow.

Lake Road is a hidden gem for campers, right off the river in Wisconsin. The sites are level and spacious, with easy access and just enough shade. Waking up and watching the sunrise over the river was the highlight of our trip. The amenities are clean and well maintained and there's free Wi-Fi. It’s peaceful, friendly, and close to Trumpelou. Whether you're stopping for a night or settling in for a few days, this spot hits the sweet spot between nature and comfort. Also check out the bar nearby for really good smash burgers.
