Called and was told they have nice primitive campsites and a boat ramp. Booked a night, site unseen, for $80!!! Most expensive campsite of my life. I get there early Saturday to discover the boat ramp is completely weed choked and unusable. So have to trailer to a different ramp. The campsite they gave me was sandwiched tightly between RV's, with one's "stinky slinky" emptying into the ground on my site. No way, complained, and they gave me a new site, right between 2 RV's, on the main drag. NO. They won't refund my $80. I had no choice but to take the hit. This place is as crowded as a Walmart parking lot. You will not find peace. They do not have an operational boat ramp. And they're so hungry for money, they will not refund you. Steer clear of this crappy destination.

Love the peace and quiet here, and these were the views out of our camper. Highly recommend staying here. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Staff and residents are so nice. Mr. Corky, Ms. Barbara and Ms. Lori have been wonderful assisting with everything while there. The Resort is well maintained and peaceful. It's living the life of a small community and I love it there. Best RV Resort I've been to. Thank you Lake Rousseau RV Park staff for taking such good care of my daughter and my grandson during their stay there.

We can't speak highly enough about this campground! The people here, the staff here, are the friendliest we have ever experienced! We honestly felt like home, and really hated to leave. I highly recommend slip #77, which has a front and center view of Lake Rousseau. We have never seen so much wildlife in one place before either. We are definitely looking forward to returning soon.

Absolutely love the spot we camped in. Great view. Quiet. Nice people. Alligators can be seen daily. If you don’t bother them they won’t bother you.

Our family home bought here in 1956, right before now RV Resort. Back in the day was so quiet an just as beautiful, was the Backwaters called then. So different but still lots of fun an great pic's, so many pics of my daughter with nice fish right off our dock. Caught her first bass here when she was just 3yrs old. My daughter, my momma an I caught 114 bluegill and brim the same day in a misty rain. Had a blast. My grandparents, many family, friends, my mom, us an many more spent together for years, now sold. Gone but never will be forgotten. A great place, with such great memories to share. The RV park a great place for family and friends to enjoy!! Miss our beautiful property, peacefulness! My beautiful yard, that's my yellow shrimp plant in 1 of the pic's from our front yard. Still visit here often as Citrus Co is and was a great an beautiful place to live an have a good time. Recommend visiting the area an to bring your kids for lots of fishing all around great time 😉. Raised our daughter Sarah here's well!! ENJOY, CINDY HAYNES

Beautiful pristine campground we had lot 77 and it was extremely nice right on the lake. Most sites don't have a lake view but ours did. It was so peaceful I slept so great here. People are friendly.

We stayed there for 3 nights. Lots of shade trees and pretty level spot that was easy to back into. The staff was friendly and helpful. Mostly filled with permanent guests who also were friendly. It's a pretty campground that is close to several state parks and attractions in Crystal River and Homosassa Springs. The wifi was non-existent - it is only accessible in the office. We paid a little extra (only $5 for the 3 nights) for cable. They had 48 channels but the last 20 were completely unwatchable and the others were very fuzzy and grainy. So if internet service is important to you then you need to be prepared to be your own hotspot.

The main campground is nice, the secondary camp area is not. “The Grove” is a sand pit with demented elderly blowing sand, dust and pollen onto abutting sites on a daily basis. Senile snowbirds, I wouldn’t recommend it. I left a week early.
