I have been coming to lake Rudolph for about the past 10 years and love the place. I almost always come with atleast 3 people in the fall It is a fun place there are many things to do and this year the beds were actually comfortable. Except that the wifi wasn't great wich it never was because obviously it's camping, and some of the sheets were dirty so was the floor. But other than that I would say 4 out of 5 stars. Also make sure you bring your own towels! I almost forgot I'm glad I didn't.

Okay, so this was our first time here for the Halloween events going on. We had 2 cabins and a rv spot. We loved the child events that had, it was super fun. But the golf cart parade was the worst disaster ever. It happened at 9pm and it was so unorganized, you had a bunch of drunk people driving the golf carts, blasting music and not going the right way, almost crashing into each other. You had all these kids thinking candy was being given out only to see a bunch of unorganized drunk adults blasting music or teenagers driving them all crazy. That was RIDICULOUS. It was just so chaotic. Also, the beds in the 2 bedroom/1 bath cabins were the most uncomfortable beds I have ever slept on in my life. We ended up going home a night early because of how bad our backs hurt and how we didn’t get sleep at all the entire weekend trip. Also no towels, rags, blankets, pillows. I mean, just the absolute bare minimum place I have ever stayed. This is such a fun idea and concept but definitely need better control on all the drunk people driving around, teenagers driving around on these golf carts. I can’t tell you how many times I saw people almost crashing into each other. Unattended teenagers and children, the golf cart parade was the most unorganized thing I have ever witnessed. I’d be back if they fixed a few issues.

My family and I just stayed at the cabins and when I say it was perfect I mean it! The cabin was cute and cozy with plenty of room for us (group of 6). We rented a golf cart which I would say is a absolute MUST. The amenities are so nice. The water park wasn't open sadly but it looked so nice and clean! The camp store was nice and clean and had everything you could need! All of the employees were friendly and extremely helpful! The only problem at the cabin was the door was a bit finicky to get to lock and unlocked and it needed a good sweep when we got there but other than that everything was perfect! We will definitely be back!

We had such a wonderful experience at Sun Outdoors Lake Rudolph! The cabin we stayed in was spacious, clean, and well-stocked with all the kitchen necessities we could need! The bedrooms were roomy and comfortable—just don’t forget to bring your own linens and towels (this is clearly stated in the welcome email). Check-in and check-out were seamless, and renting a golf cart is absolutely worth it—ours was well-maintained and made getting around the resort a breeze. One of our favorite parts of the trip is the golf cart parade—it’s such a fun, festive event for everyone- whether you’re participating in the parade or simply watching from your site! Be sure to bring decorations and get in on the fun! While Holiday World brought us to the area, we’ve come to love the campground just as much—it’s truly an attraction in its own right! From free putt-putt and the refreshing pool to the daily events organized by the friendly activities staff, there’s always something going on. A big highlight for our kids was the on-site mining experience and arcade! A special shoutout to Matt and the team—due to unexpected circumstances, my son wasn’t able to visit Holiday World, but the staff went above and beyond to make sure he still had a blast every single day. If you’re visiting Santa Claus, IN, make sure to explore all the other unique local attractions too—you won’t be disappointed. We can’t wait to come back!

We had such a great time staying at Lake Rudolph! We rented a cabin for our family getaway—while it was a bit on the small side, it was cozy and had everything we needed. That’s what camping is all about anyway, right? The location couldn’t have been better—super close to Holiday World, which made it easy to head back after a long, fun day at the park. We also spent a full day at the Lake Rudolph pool and water slide area, which was perfect for cooling off. We rented a cabana right by the splash pad, which worked out great for our little ones. One of the absolute highlights was the Saturday night glow parade—over 100 golf carts decked out with lights, music, candy, and beads. We decorated our own cart and had a blast participating! Just a heads-up: since it’s a family campground, there are lots of kids on bikes and scooters, so be sure to drive slow and stay alert. As long as you’re cautious, it’s a safe and fun environment for everyone. We also loved the new activity center—they’ve added mini golf, an arcade, gemstone mining, and even an ice cream shop near the basketball courts. The kids were in heaven! All in all, it was a fantastic trip and we’ll definitely be back again. Highly recommend Lake Rudolph for a fun and family-friendly camping adventure!
