Beautiful spot on the lake shore. Sunsets were beautiful, park is quiet and staff very nice and dog friendly . Sites are small in some areas . Neighbors extremely close in site 30 sewer pipe of neighbor at my picnic table is not cool . Such potential at this park with a little power washing of tables by the lake and fixing the extremely bumpy exit road ( from tree roots ) use the entrance side . Two washers and two dryers . Work well . Grass is dead end of July . Plum tree is nice small plums but delicious ! Great park but needs some love . No bike trails near by , dinner at gold course was good . Sitting by the lake at night with a bottle of wine was wonderful .

We've mixed feelings about this resort. The location is outstanding. It's located on the west shore of Lake Sawyer in a beautiful setting. Major shopping areas are within a few miles, and a delightful country store (Lake Sawyer Market) is within walking distance, along with the wonderful restaurant, Europa Cafe. It's difficult to over-state the beauty of the lakeside area. It's a bit noisy if in a site near the road, but the residents are generally a very quiet and respectful bunch. On the downside, the campground is showing its age and needs some TLC. Facilities are run-down, though the restrooms are in good repair. The family clubhouse and adult lodge are locked, and used for storage. It's either stay in your RV or use the chairs and tables to enjoy the spectacular lake view. We stayed for two nights in mid-July -- peak tourist season during a period of spectacular weather. None of the cabins appeared to be occupied, and at least 1/3 of the campsites were vacant. We rented a full-hookup, 30-amp, site for our 38' diesel pusher. I thought the price was a bit steep, at $60. $52 gets you a partial hookup site. Sites and roads are packed dirt, and sizes typical of commercial campgrounds -- your slide-out will be within a few feet of your neighbor. The office has a teeny-tiny store, with an odd assortment of offerings.

Have stopped by in the past to dump our rv and it was reasonably priced to dump. This time they charged $50 to dump. Will not recommend to anyone.

3.3! Definitely not correct! This place is a 10! All day everyday! Definitely a bright diamond 💎 in Black Diamond Washington. Super great place to come for a stay if you travel to the Seattle area! Great place for kids and pets! Small acreage nestled between the shore of a beautiful lake with endless miles of bike trails, or hiking. The Host Kirby and Beth really make this place feel like home! Awesome and Always clean around the property. Kirby does a wonderful job! You will enjoy getting to know everyone on site. Using the park for a work trip and couldn’t be happier. I suggest a stay here definitely 👍🏻 a must!

Stayed here for one night at the very end of our camping roadtrip through Washington and Oregon. This is definitely not a resort. The lake is pretty, though not swimmable from the beach at property due to sludge, mud and plants but still a beautiful place to sit and enjoy the views for an afternoon. The park is dog "friendly" with a lot of rules and there are a few dog friendly restaurants near by ( The Vault is an amazing place to eat and only an 8 minute drive). The list of nice things end here. The campsites are EXTREMELY small. It's basically a large lawn that they have sectioned into campsites with some picnic tables. Zero privacy and I mean zero because you are parked so incredibly close to the next RV. The bathrooms are a disgrace. Only two stalls and two showers. The stalls are awful. One of the toilets has an issue that causes it to run after flushing leaving the tank empty which causes issues with flushing the next time someone uses it. This left one stall almost completely unusable and gross. Shame since this has a very easy fix. The bathroom is covered in cobwebs. Trash cans are full. Floor is dirty and the stall doors don't close properly. I didn't have a shower. Couldn't bring myself to with the state of the washrooms. My partner had a similar review for the men's washroom. There are a lot of locked up/ out of commission buildings on the property. I think in it's heydays it probably had a cafe and an event room? now they just sit messy and locked up. The park has an eerie feel. We have stayed in 10 other campsites/RV Parks on this trip alone. If you are desperate for a layover place for one night, this place will do but I 100% do not recommend this for any longer than that. There are plenty of well maintained and beautiful state and county Parks in the area within a similar price range. Such a shame because the place has the potential to be a great spot but clearly and as stated in many other reviews the poor management has definitely taken a toll on the look and feel of the place.
