Beautiful spot on the lake shore. Sunsets were beautiful, park is quiet and staff very nice and dog friendly . Sites are small in some areas . Neighbors extremely close in site 30 sewer pipe of neighbor at my picnic table is not cool . Such potential at this park with a little power washing of tables by the lake and fixing the extremely bumpy exit road ( from tree roots ) use the entrance side . Two washers and two dryers . Work well . Grass is dead end of July . Plum tree is nice small plums but delicious ! Great park but needs some love . No bike trails near by , dinner at gold course was good . Sitting by the lake at night with a bottle of wine was wonderful .

We've mixed feelings about this resort. The location is outstanding. It's located on the west shore of Lake Sawyer in a beautiful setting. Major shopping areas are within a few miles, and a delightful country store (Lake Sawyer Market) is within walking distance, along with the wonderful restaurant, Europa Cafe. It's difficult to over-state the beauty of the lakeside area. It's a bit noisy if in a site near the road, but the residents are generally a very quiet and respectful bunch. On the downside, the campground is showing its age and needs some TLC. Facilities are run-down, though the restrooms are in good repair. The family clubhouse and adult lodge are locked, and used for storage. It's either stay in your RV or use the chairs and tables to enjoy the spectacular lake view. We stayed for two nights in mid-July -- peak tourist season during a period of spectacular weather. None of the cabins appeared to be occupied, and at least 1/3 of the campsites were vacant. We rented a full-hookup, 30-amp, site for our 38' diesel pusher. I thought the price was a bit steep, at $60. $52 gets you a partial hookup site. Sites and roads are packed dirt, and sizes typical of commercial campgrounds -- your slide-out will be within a few feet of your neighbor. The office has a teeny-tiny store, with an odd assortment of offerings.

Have stopped by in the past to dump our rv and it was reasonably priced to dump. This time they charged $50 to dump. Will not recommend to anyone.

3.3! Definitely not correct! This place is a 10! All day everyday! Definitely a bright diamond 💎 in Black Diamond Washington. Super great place to come for a stay if you travel to the Seattle area! Great place for kids and pets! Small acreage nestled between the shore of a beautiful lake with endless miles of bike trails, or hiking. The Host Kirby and Beth really make this place feel like home! Awesome and Always clean around the property. Kirby does a wonderful job! You will enjoy getting to know everyone on site. Using the park for a work trip and couldn’t be happier. I suggest a stay here definitely 👍🏻 a must!

Stayed here for one night at the very end of our camping roadtrip through Washington and Oregon. This is definitely not a resort. The lake is pretty, though not swimmable from the beach at property due to sludge, mud and plants but still a beautiful place to sit and enjoy the views for an afternoon. The park is dog "friendly" with a lot of rules and there are a few dog friendly restaurants near by ( The Vault is an amazing place to eat and only an 8 minute drive). The list of nice things end here. The campsites are EXTREMELY small. It's basically a large lawn that they have sectioned into campsites with some picnic tables. Zero privacy and I mean zero because you are parked so incredibly close to the next RV. The bathrooms are a disgrace. Only two stalls and two showers. The stalls are awful. One of the toilets has an issue that causes it to run after flushing leaving the tank empty which causes issues with flushing the next time someone uses it. This left one stall almost completely unusable and gross. Shame since this has a very easy fix. The bathroom is covered in cobwebs. Trash cans are full. Floor is dirty and the stall doors don't close properly. I didn't have a shower. Couldn't bring myself to with the state of the washrooms. My partner had a similar review for the men's washroom. There are a lot of locked up/ out of commission buildings on the property. I think in it's heydays it probably had a cafe and an event room? now they just sit messy and locked up. The park has an eerie feel. We have stayed in 10 other campsites/RV Parks on this trip alone. If you are desperate for a layover place for one night, this place will do but I 100% do not recommend this for any longer than that. There are plenty of well maintained and beautiful state and county Parks in the area within a similar price range. Such a shame because the place has the potential to be a great spot but clearly and as stated in many other reviews the poor management has definitely taken a toll on the look and feel of the place.

Not what I expected from the title of resort. Overall it's clean, staff out keeping things picked up consistently. Was expensive for our visitors. $10 per car each day they visited.

Month-to-month requires talking with the manager who did not respond to multiple emails and phone messages. It took almost 3 weeks to get an answer as to whether or not space was available. I requested to move in the middle of the park because the loud noise from pine cones and branches constantly falling on top of my camper terrified my elderly dog. She paced and was scared the entire 3 months I resided but the park refused to let me move. It's very overpriced particularly for the poor quality and service of the park. They do not prorate and require daily rate which is $50+ day or the monthly rate which ever is greater. Therefore rather than fairly prorating like most parks that offer monthly it cost $975 for 19 days. The park grounds are not at all maintained and instead covered in branches, pine cones and pine needles. The trash dumpster isn't big enough so once a week there is trash placed outside the bin and it's difficult to get a bag inside it. During the recent snow they did nothing to clear the park roads and pathways and it turned into thick dangerous ice which while walking my dogs resulted in constant slipping and concern of falling. I notified two different people on my final day at the park and upon paying the final month they told me they thought I was leaving sooner than I had notified which caused the front desk attendant confusion. It took 30 minutes to process the final months payment because the woman at the front desk is incompetent. She is also extremely rude and acts as if she hates being there. While paying my final month the manager and front desk attendant had an uncomfortable conversation about how long it was taking her to process my final payment. This was a conversation not appropriate in front of visitors and should have been behind closed doors. The front desk attendant explained above works during the week. The attendant on the weekends is very friendly and helpful. She is the only positive aspect of the entire park experience.

Friendly folks... great property and beautiful setting. This place is well kept with laundry on site and more comforts of home. The front office ladies I met are truly kind and dear. Although a 11 am check out is early for over sleepers... it's so peaceful and with clean crisp mountain air how can we not over sleep. Tbey ate by the way understanding, accommodating and generously will give you a little extension if needed or... if they can you can pay for a little extra time. Frim tent sites to full big rig RV pull through full hookup sites .. there's a bathhouse on-site... laundry on site and more. All this and the setting is on Lake Sawyer- literally right on the edge of Lake Sawyer. So it's beautiful with walks and nearby are a variety of parks state and local. AND YOU ARE LESS THAN AN HOUR from the air and space museum to the Space Needle to Tacomas Fine Arts Museum and all the other neat things. Che k out the zoo on Seattle or take your best friend to the off-leash dog parks. If you need a hospital if you need doctors... they're all nearby. This is a really beautiful place. And The Price is Right for everything you're going to get for the the dollar you spend. It's another one that gets all stars available from me and my dog Apollo. We're coming back this is our third stay. ... did you try to do their part for covid medication and no guest of yours... unregistered... are allowed in the property.

Lovely spot on lake Sawyer, when we arrived they couldn’t find our reservation, it was in system but no one had finished it. They found us a spot without sewer( we were to have full hookups), it was in a strip of campers so close together you couldn’t put your awning out, 3 of 5 docks were closed due to disrepair, only dumpster were at back of camp, had to go back there every time had dog waste, found 1 trash can that said no dog waste, 2 weeks after leaving they called wondering where we were, really we have already been there, worse park ever at

Campsites were clean, well spaced, and well signed. We were tent camping, which was nice that they had it available even though their bread and butter is RVs. Nice bathroom, free showers. 4 stars instead of 5 due to the lake entrance being kind of gross (lots of water plants, no real “swimming” area) but all in all a pleasurable stay. Check in was easy and pleasant, she even brought us over to our site in her golf cart. Definitely would stay again - site prices comparable to state park rates.
