Our 1st time here. We made the reservations online with no issues. The site is open for RV and Campers. There are plenty of bathroom/showers on site, which was a Big plus! (Very well maintained!) Plenty of space between spots. Each spot has their own sitting area and grill. Unfortunately, we couldn't enjoy it as we were passing through. We will definitely be back and stay a few days.

My Husband and I are Primitive Campers. Our 1st time here, we were unsure which spot to snag. You must register online, no walk ins. I expected a more rural site, but they are all open for RV and Campers. There are plenty of bathroom/showers on site, which was a Big plus! (Very well maintained!) After we got past the "it wasn't what we expected" feeling...we ended up just going ahead with it. We actually ended up having a very enjoyable stay! The Lake is so Clean and clear, absolutely beautiful!! We later drove around and located more private settings and wrote them down for a future stay! Lots of Wonderful Birds, (owls hooting at night) deer ...+ Downside... 👎 I do not enjoy hearing planes, boats, and trains while I camp. We did have a Great time though.

Love this spacious and peaceful campground. A few precautions are necessary, be prepared for a bugs and ticks. Lots of deer roam the grounds, and you might see a raccoon if u have a sloppy campsite.

4.2.24 - Family of 4 stayed here one night. The tent sites are big with a gravel bottom, but also plenty of space for tenting in the dirt. There is a grill, electric post, lantern post, and a beautiful view of the water! The showers and restrooms are super clean. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating from the people at the check-in booth to the guy who cleans the shower. The check-in staff helped me get my online account setup for easier access to all national parks as a disabled veteran. Thank you all for making us feel welcome!
