It was really cool! I'm glad I stopped by. I'll definitely come back again to explore some more of their exhibit room! This place felt like a Smokey the Bear approved nature building. I haven't seen one of these in YEARS. Ps Thanks guys for answering my question at the front desk and clarifying that the white foggy water from the water fountains by the dam are because of low movement of the chlorinated water. And thank you for letting me fill up my bottle inside at your water fountains.

Great place to get information about the lake. Beautiful views from the Visitor Center along with an activity center and small gift shop. Great picnic area and playground very nearby. You might even see the occasional Bald Eagle.

This is a really nice place to visit, with or without children. There's a terrific interpretive Center with interactive displays to engage & teach about geology, history, nature, you name it! The information Center has plenty of pamphlets, plus a volunteer on the spot willing to answer questions. Check it out!

We visited here with 4 grade school ages grandkids. There were so many activities that we kept them busy observing & learning for well over 2 hours & could have stayed longer. The volunteers were outgoing & helpful. We highly recommend this place for folks of any age. The history & nature of this area are Amazing!!

It's a neat place to take your kids and it's full of information about the lake and the surrounding area. There's wifi and in the main room it's like a lodge with a high ceiling and a fireplace.
