The gate attendant is extremely rude (Debbie, I believe)! She has kids playing in the main office, while she’s supposed to be working. It’s not a childcare facility - very tacky and unprofessional! The location is good and has nice views. The restrooms are decent - outdated and old but maintained okay. There are too many other choices, especially in the hall county area, I will not be staying here or visit again!

This is a campground, not a hotel just to clarify there are lots of spaces that you can park your RV. They have tent camping. There’s a playground for kids. You can see the lake from a lot of the site. It’s quiet and peaceful. If you love the sun, there’s lots of spaces that you can choose that will have sun all day long. If you want the shade there’s lots of spaces that you can choose that have shade, the only problem I had was trying to figure out the most respectful way to get down to the lake without walking through someone else’s site other than that this place is pretty awesome. The cost is reasonable and it’s very very clean.

This was the first place I ever took my motorhome to. So I'm definitely comparing other campgrounds to these guys! This place has so many beautiful lots. If you want on the water or if you don't, just let them know. Or you can always look online for a site you think you may like. Great facilities. Clean bathhouses & showers are hot. Easy to walk wherever.

Stayed at the campground. Overall veiws are lovely, however our waterfront site (89) was not as pictured on the website. The actual parking pad (pullthrough) is rather narrow and has 2 trees that blocked our slideout also the picknick and fire ring are are well below the rv pad you have to walk down a little sidewalk to get to it so it is not convenient if you wanted to eat outside at the table or do smores on the fire ring. We had to block up our steps so we could use them since we could not fit well and open our sides due to the trees. Our rv is a 35 ft 5th wheel, so it may accommodate a smaller RV fine. I would like to come back and give this campground another try at a different site. I wished the pics online were more detailed so you could make a better site selection based on your needs.

I was visiting with my parents this week after the storms come thru Bolding Mill.We noticed that there was a lot of small branches and lots of debris in some of the campsites that were empty. With this being said,we also noticed that there unfortunately were guest who left bags of trash on the roadside, and the host seemed to stay away n their space instead of trying to be useful .Just wish we could have seen at least a little extra effort.Glad storms don’t come like that often! Hope everyone was ok!👌

We love Bolding Mill. We go several times a year.Actually just came home on Saturday early because of pending weather. The campground was even better than last year.Pads were clean, the area around the pads were blown, firepits were dug deeper ( guess to help with wind blowing sparks)restrooms were also clean, everything looked good. The new camp host this year are SUPER NICE ,sorry I can't remember their names, but the extra they are doing isn't going unnoticed. So thank you and I'm sure Everyone will appreciate your hard work. See you next month, Jerry and Renee Gooch

Great campground on Lake Lanier. Park Host and employees are always friendly and helpful. Location is convenient to Gainesville City. I love the campsites and feel as though they are spacious. The bath house is badly in need of a update. Also I love that it is gated .

Great campground on Lake Lanier, love the space of the sites, location and wildlife. Bathhouse is cold. And I wish they had electrical outlets for a space heater when it's cold out. Overall one of my favorite places in the area to camp at.

Did not rate the rooms, as it is a campground. But I will say that the county partnering with the Army Corp of Engineers has been a great partnership. The Corp has let the parks run down, and hopefully, the counties they have partnered with can bring these parks back to their glory days. The staff in Hall County and Bolding Mill have made this summer camping experience wonderful.

This was my first time camping at Bolding Mill. Since it is a Corp of engineers location, the cost is very low compared to a private campground. The bath house is an older building but was clean and functional. There was also a washer & dryer. The grounds were nice and maintained when i was there in late August. Many of the sites are waterfront and nice sized. The driveway is concrete with a gravel/sand pad where the picnic table and fire ring are. There is also a nice fishing pier, just a short walk from the road. It was nice to go out in the late afternoon for a walk with the pup. There has been a staffing shortage lately, and some campgrounds were closed. Big thanks to those who are caring for these sites so we can enjoy them!!

Trees and Forrest! This place has so many trees, truly glorious. There is a fun hiking trail and fish pier too. Come out and explore! We would come again!

This camp site is absolutely beautiful… unfortunately it rained most of the time we were there but it was peaceful and relaxing… I only wish we could have stayed longer.. we hope to come back again soon..

This is probably the best looking and maintained Corps of Engineers Park in the country. We'll top 5 rather than argue
