Awesome campground. Great views easy access to the lake from your site. We camped late October and the trees were beautiful. My husband decided to canoe from Bolding Mill campground to Duckett Mill after we checked out took him 4 hours with a 20 minute break and I had a welcome crew ready to greet him. We had such a great time and campground was so quiet until the guests at site 11 arrived 😒 constantly being rude, purposely walking across our “driveway” and staring at our belongings made me feel uncomfortable. With the exception of the last 2 uncomfortable nights our stay was perfect and the staff was helpful and friendly

Great campground with space between sites. Annoying that its so hard to reach the pad for opening the gate. We had to exit our Jeep to punch in #. In our rv it would be hars to get back in time to go through the gate. Bathhouse is clean just old. Such a beautiful park though.

So we stayed this past weekend till the 13 th and they me start out but saying out site was beautiful was 48 but it was infested with yellow jackets they were everywhere and my son got stung! The bathrooms were so hot and humid and had no soap to wash ur hands! Lastly that younger girl that works at the gatehouse is straight up rude and disrespectful I definitely won’t be going back also head up for Locals if u have 6 ppl on ur site and u have 2 and a kid or a dog to come hang out and not stay but just visiting they will refuse them from coming in nvr had that experience at a campground before it’s honestly ridiculous

This was our first time camping at Duckett Mill. Overall, it was a decent campground. Most, if not all of the sites, have water views or access. We reserved site 77. It was nice, but a bit busier than we would've liked, as it was on a turnaround and was just far enough from the restrooms that many of our neighbors drove to them. We'd likely stay here again. Although, we'll probably check out some other campgrounds in the area before returning here.

We stayed in site 104. Its near the bathhouse and beach. This is a nice level site on the water. We were able to leave our boat in the water at our campsite. Office staff was very nice. Maintenance staff was great and always cleaning something. Park is well kept. Bathhouse was very clean with great water pressure. Campsites are spacious.

A big factor in our selection of this campground (and our specific campsite) was there being a playground for our toddler. Both the online reservation map, and the paper map we were handed at check-in, showed a playground. We got him excited and walked to the spot on the map from our campsite, only to find an empty lot. It must have been removed and never updated. Pretty easy fix to make on the maps, and avoid confusion/disappointment. It’s kind of pathetic actually. This would have been a 5-star stay as the campground and sites are BEAUTIFUL and the staff was good too. I just don’t understand why a big change like this wouldn’t be updated on the maps. If you’re coming with children beware, there IS NO PLAYGROUND.

Went to visit family here in the place was gorgeous. The staff at the gate were really friendly as well. It seems like a very safe welcoming place, the views are beautiful, seems like a terrific campground

Great campground nestled in the woods. Beautiful views of the lake from the site. Ample room on the sites for setup and play. Some sites were a little close, almost giving the feeling of intruding on neighbors but not a problem due to them being angled away from each other. The bathroom was a bit of a hike, but it was clean and maintained. Great rustic atmosphere.

We enjoyed our stay. Minimal interaction with the staff, but they were all very nice and easy to work with. It seems like no one cleans up campsites after people check out. Lots of charcoal ash in the grill, ash and partially burned wood in the fire ring. A wood pallet was left at our site. The restrooms need a thorough cleaning/ power wash and renovation.

This U.S. Army Corps of Engineers campground on Lake Lanier is spectacular for a number of reasons. First, the Corp really did an excellent job of designing the campground. The roads are asphalt, sites are spacious, level (concrete pads), relatively easy to get in and out of (may be difficult for 5vers or big rigs -- check first), well spaced from other sites, and have easy water/electric hook-ups. If this were a "commercial" campground with full hookups and fast wifi, they could charge double the price or more and I'd pay it gladly. There's a playground, beach, adequate extra vehicle parking and more. Very well-maintained, and the staff we met were great to interact with. Looking forward to returning!

First time at this campground. Had a great site with great view of the lake. Spacious and not on top of each other. Will definitely go back more !
