Camping in the cabins is awesome. Comfortable and quaint. Camp stores are really nice and friendly. Enjoy the night by a fire and watch the deer appear. Try it. You will love it. The lake is nice and beautiful. The marina is nice and helpful. Fishing is rough on a person right now, but with the right lure a few good size smallies. Do it all nice few day trip.

So every year in August my family has our Family Reunion, at one of Lake Stephen's shelter. The view is so beautiful with the background of boats passing by and the water is so amazing. My family from other states always say this park is wonderful. The staff in the main office are very nice people. The restrooms are clean. At least ours were. They come by and check them ever so often, because they have a paper where they initial that they came by to check if they need maintenance or just paper towels, bathroom tissue, or even soap. Very nice place to go swimming and take kids to have an outing for a day or two. Next I would love to go camping it's on my bucket list.
