It serves as a peaceful retreat for those looking to immerse themselves in the quiet majesty of the Sierra Nevada mountains while maintaining direct access to the water's edge.

Location & Surroundings

Situated perfectly between the world-renowned Emerald Bay and Sugar Pine Point State Park, the location is unbeatable for those exploring the Tahoe Basin. The park is nestled within a forest of towering pines and cedars, providing ample shade and a classic alpine atmosphere. The West Shore is generally quieter than the bustling South Lake area, offering travelers a chance to reconnect with nature amidst rugged granite peaks and the shimmering waters of the high Sierras.

Such a gorgeous beach! Didn't get to stay there but went for a while and the water is so blue! Unfortunately it's not very large so it can get crowded.

The area was beautiful, the water was cold, but cristal clear. The rooms were very clean, but they don't have AC. They have a small fan in the living room, kitchen, and in the rooms, but they don't cool down the rooms. It was hot during nighttime, and the windows didn't have screens, so we could not open the windows late at night. They have the kitchen with many supplies such as pots with lids, plates, forks, spoons, cups, paper towels, etc. The only bad thing we experienced was that the kitchen stove was too old and only 2 of the small burners were working, which made our cooking experience difficult and longer.

We didn't stay at the resort but we did visit the beach. It's a beautiful area with a long gorgeous beach. The water was very calm, which made it a great place for young kids to play in the water. This was also a great place for paddleboarding. Parking was easy and the unloading zone made for easy beach setup. Arrive early to get a spot in the beach!
