Nice RV area. We were there in September and the heat was brutal. We unfortunately didn't have any tree cover. The flys were terrible but it looked like a sewage tank had been recently dug up right where our picnic table was set. Won't happen again.

We were very pleased with the condition of the RV Park. The sites were large, level, clean and the grass was kept mowed. There are fire pits and picnic tables at sites and all are in great condition. Communication with staff was perfect. We will definitely stay there again if we return to the area.

Our family had the most amazing experience at this park! The staff were so friendly and accommodating. Savannah and her husband went out of their way to help us. What a very family friendly environment! Our children were able to play freely. Loved the amenities. 10 out of 10 for sure! We will go back!

Stayed in a rental trailer for 6 weeks. The trailer is in serious need of new couch, bed and seats. On the flip side the staff was wonderful. Super nice, willing to help and made the stay easier. The bingo games were a lot of fun. They work hard and always willing to help. It seemed they worked way over 40 hours at keeping the grounds looking neat and trimmed. In a nut shell, the staff was fantastic.

Nice place. We enjoyed our stay. The water has an odor, so recommend you bring a charcoal filter. Hope is super and works hard to accommodate. A couple more years and this place will be a 5 star. They are continually making improvements.

We loved our stay at Lake Thurmond RV park. Hope, park manager, was fantastic. Extremely responsive to any issues or questions we had. The park itself is clean and very well maintained. They even have a cute little dog park for our pups! It’s also very convenient to the lake and surrounding state parks. We would definitely recommend this park.

As previous commenters have said this place is a hidden jewel! Very quiet and nice amenities, very very clean shower areas, fire pits, and they just added a dog park! BUT the best is Hope, she is amazing, gives you personal service and makes you feel welcome. We are staying here because my wife is a travel nurse in Augusta, one of the reasons we extended her contact is because our living situation at this RV park! Ryan and Max.

My wife and I were treated to first class comfort from the moment of our arrival. Hope is so amazing in her knowledge of things, her hard work, as well as her husband being hard working. She is very knowledgeable of the RV's, the grounds, and the function of both. She has, every single time, treated both my wife and I respectfully and very welcome here. Hope is very exceptional at being the grounds manager, while Angela Self, property owner, was just as courteous, friendly, and professional as Hope was to us when we were introduced to her One day we hope to visit again soon! Hope was able to accommodate us without prior reservation. This park was a little gem! Everyone was very friendly, and the grounds were nicely maintained. The bathrooms were warm and the facilities are updated with premium appliances/fixtures. We would love to have stayed longer, and would definitely recommend it to anyone needing a short or long term stay. Thanks again!
