We rented the pontoon boat and it was a great experience. The boat was new and we interfaced with Ciara at the Marina to coordinate the rental. She was very nice and professional. I would definitely recommend this

Only bad thing was the water, not good tasting. my dog wouldn't even drink it.. Great camp host and view.

I can't give 5 stars as I did not look at or use the facilities. The park was far from the main highway. The space I had was waterfront, no sewage. The water was higher than I had seen in photos. Easy access 95% paved. Garmin was instructing turns that did not exist or had been closed off for a very long time. I just followed the road. A coded gate is the campground entrance. Ck in was friendly and efficient. My space was clean, somewhat level, and the lawn was nicely manicured. The only sounds were a plane a couple times a day, no road noise but boat engines as they went across the lake and the many varieties of birds that stopped to play at the water. Temps were perfect, low 70's. A very nice, constant breeze. Reminded me of beach camping at an ocean. Slept like a baby, with windows wide open. Hope to visit this lovely place again, in the future.

Loved this place! Quiet and off the beaten path, but you can get to the Silos in less than 20 minutes. Beautiful area, peaceful, great for family and pets.

Stayed here a week. The view couldn't be better. Just beautiful sunrises and not too shabby sunsets. The temperature was great during my stay and besides a slight tornado scare and a night without power it was all good. You can walk through some dead grasses and weeds (at least dead currently) to get to Lake Waco. A bit mucky close to the water. I sank in a bit and got my shoes muddy. If you walk north there are some rocks and what appears to be a boat launch and there you can walk out and capture some really nice views without issue. There may be a another route to the lake around the corner from here as well but didn't check. There were some trucks parked in that direction. Lots of people fishing. Looked like some decent size fish too. I stayed first in spot 14 closest to the lake but wi-fi was poor so I called and moved to spot 2. It did get better but it was slow for working but seem to be fine for streaming for the most part. The view was still amazing from that spot too. Even better honestly. That spot had a picnic table and a fire pit. Even spotted many deer in the early morning grazing in the field just behind this spot. And bathrooms were straight across. Small no mirrors but showers were hot and that's what's important. I don't believe there are laundry facilities. I didn't see them. There is a door opposite side from the bathrooms but not sure what's in there. Now the one downfall was the bumpy road getting there. When you turn down the road to get here unfortunately the normal road you'd take is closed and under construction. The detour takes you through a gate to one of the worst roads I've driven. The key 10mph max and dodge the various bumps, lumps and portions of broken road. Leaving the park I made the mistake of turning right thinking it would lead out (there's no sign to say otherwise) but it only leads you to the marina and further down to a road that is closed. You will need to turn around and go back to where you started from anyway. Therefore, make sure when you leave to go straight back through the gate and over the lumps and bumps. After you're 3rd time back and forth you'll be a pro at navigating the road and it's not so bad lol.
