Avid camper here and fisherman, never in all my years of camping and fishing have I met a campground where one is not allowed to park the boat at the camper to charge the batteries, instead being asked to park in a non secure lot without power that was too small to get into anyway. Zero customer service on trying to figure it out. What makes this bad is there is no mention of this rule in the terms when paying, only signs at the park, so it’s a bait and switch and they don’t care, I highly recommend staying some place else, which seems to be a mutual feeling amongst the reviews, perhaps the owners/managers can learn from the reviews. In response to the Marina responding to my review, they in fact did not kick us out. We asked for a refund and that we would leave so that we could stay somewhere else, the overflow storage parking area they have is in fact lighted yes, but it is not large and there may be a camera, but the last time I checked, the camera does not stop anyone from breaking into your possessions , then you only hope that the camera is good enough to get any detail details so you could find who might break into your things. They also did not try to work with us. They just said move your boat and I did try and I could not fit in the overflow parking. And the final thing legality threats, I made zero threats, and I never once did and I do not do that, so there are multiple bits of misinformation coming from these people, I would highly recommend staying somewhere else and avoiding this place as much as possible.

I only gave it a star because you had to to open giving a review. This is the worst place I've ever stayed! The camp sites are just a gravel drive with hookups. No grill no fire pit no picnic table. They need to update their web site, restaurant not open. Save your money!

I have tried to call. Text an no response! We have tried to call them to let them know we have to cancel for july 4th weekend, no response at all for a week. No text back nothin . We r not impressed. I would not recommend them. If they dont answer the phone during business hours or text back or even call us. I'm not impressed

Fun staying at the Lake Waco Houseboat fixer-upper and even better to get some basic drinks and eats at the Minnow next door.

DO NOT STAY HERE! If I could give 0 stars I would. THIS IS NOT A FAMILY FRIENDLY PLACE! We booked a 5 night stay spanning the weekend. At the time of booking the manager FAILED to mention NONE of their facilities were working. On Fri night a group of 20 plus people were partying and playing music until well after 2 AM. The "manager" did nothing and sent a text saying she talked to the other guests and that it wouldn't happen again. Sat night the same thing happened except when my husband asked the "manager" to deal with the partying she walked over and left shortly after. When my husband asked them to turn down the music the drunk party then yelled obscenities and circled our trailer yelling at us, waking my 5 yr old and 2 yr old. My husband called the police. They came out they turned the music down, but after 20 min they revived the party and continued well after 4 AM.

We ended up at this campground by mistake. The road to the campground was long and terrible! The campground itself has many full timers and some run down RV's. Someone had a flag out with a VERY offensive and inappropriate flag out. I would have hated to explain that to my children. Sites are not paved but gravel. No workers on site. I would NOT recommend this campground. Trust me you want Airport Park Lake Waco.

Hard to get a hold of the employee running the place for reservations. Had a mix up on our space, had to move further down the line. Which was ok. Enjoyed our time with our children the few days we where there. Does need some improvements done.
