We used to camp here often when it was privately owned and it was great. We are not welcome under the new owners because we have a dog over 50 pounds, I emailed them to confirm that the 50 pound rule included camping or if it was just for the mobile home park but they could not be bothered to return my email

What a great place to visit. All the people are wonderful. The park is clean always, we visit family every year and always have a blast. If there were one thing I could change it would be a beach area with sand by the lake like it used to .

Dirty place.... the water is poison, you can't shower, brush your teeth unless you boil it, and even then, they said it might not be good. You can not swim in the lake. No one can use the canoes. The dock is nice. The dumpsters are always full except on trash day. It's now classified as a trailer park, so there is no resort there.

Me & the wife love this place . People are so friendly. Always something to do. Love the relaxation. The staff is always accommodating. Hot showers. The lake is nice to swim in & fish . Community bonfire on the weekends.

This place has always had a five-star reputation. Recently, a new management crew took over and there was some turbulence. Any negative reviews are simply a reflection of this worble. Waldena is still the best lil lake front community.

Nice camp ground. But fishing very slow. Spent all day and not one bite. I threw every type of laure. For bass and crappie nothing. But for older people awsome.

Lake Waldena Resort will NOT disappoint! Everyone was friendly. The campground is clean and SO relaxing! The bathrooms are maintained very clean and there is a laundry area available. The Sunsets by the lake are INCREDIBLE! Every night was a spectacular show! There's a nice fenced off park for the kiddos. There's a huge community fire pit by the lake as well as a large pavilion with picnic tables for everyone to enjoy. There's a roped off area in the water with a floating deck in case you want to go for a swim and enjoy the lake. There are also 2 decks with benches, unfortunately we couldn't get to the end of one as the water was over the deck. There are plenty of chairs and picnic tables around the lake for you to enjoy! There were paddle boats, paddle boards and canoes which I believe you could rent. Location is perfect as there is plenty to do in the area. We took a drive to St. Augustin one day. We are looking forward to visiting again!!

Nice n quiet outback away from major hwy traffic and secluded by trees, lake, club house, there are full time residents, snowbirds, rvs, park modules, and primitive campsites as well, plenty of things to do to keep u busy. It convenient to several gas stations and some dollar general n auto, we got 3 pizza joints out here n subway and ice cream parlor. Moose lodge, couple of bars and plenty of history out here that nds to be discovered if it hasnt already Been discovered

This is the first time my husband and I stayed at Lake Waldena and it will not be the last! The property is peaceful and beautiful, the people are great, I felt as if we have known them for years. There is something to do for everyone from a library of books and DVDs in the rec room to swimming and fishing in the lake and a variety of fun in between. Although they don’t have any magnets 😃, I would refer this resort to everyone!!

Lake Waldena Resort was one of our fav camping spots on our trip to Florida. Close to Silver Springs State Park & yet so relaxing, clean & beautiful🏝The RV spots are a little close together but the lake is an added bonus! People are friendly & accommodating. We had a wonderful time & will be back again next spring!
