This is a 4-star review, and the reason it's not 1 star is entirely due to how the management staff handled one of the most bizarre situations I've ever had at a campground. ​First, the park is fine. But the real story is this: ​I was walking Obi, my very sweet 2-year-old Lab mix, who was strapped into his chest harness. A woman with three dogs on three retractable leashes (I know, right?) decided to let them all rush my dog. Obi, being a friendly Lab, got excited and pulled, so I grabbed his HARNESS to get control and walked him away from the chaos, back to our rig. ​A few minutes later, I get a knock. It’s the same woman, in tears, telling me, "I saw you! I saw you grab him by his throat!" She threatened to call the police and the ASPCA on me for animal abuse. ​I was mad as hell. And honestly, I was also incredibly hurt. Anyone who knows me knows I'm incapable of harming an animal. To be accused of choking my own dog, who I love, was awful. ​Here is the most important part of the review: After she left my door, I went looking for her. I found her right outside the office, already deep in her story, crying to the park manager and two other employees. ​So, I had to walk right up to this group. It was me, versus her and three park staff. This was the moment it could have gone terribly wrong. Let's be honest—I'm a guy with tattoos and a rock-and-roll look. She's a sweet-looking older lady, playing the victim for an audience. It would have been the easiest thing in the world for them to profile me, believe her, and make my life hell. ​They did not. ​They listened. They were professional and level-headed. They heard both sides. They didn't take her word for it, and they didn't profile me. By not escalating and not getting involved in her drama, they were completely fair. ​Did they "solve" the problem? No. We spent the rest of our stay changing our walking route just to avoid her. That's why this is a 4-star review and not 5. But I will take fair, neutral management over busybody, profiling management any day of the week. I've seen how this story could have gone, and I am genuinely grateful to the staff here for being decent and reasonable. ​The Mad Nomad (YouTube)

We made reservations for 4 nights in December 2024 to attend a Bluegrass festival. The reservations were made in July 2024. In October we had to cancel the reservations due to family matters. I notified them on 28 October of our cancellation. They called back the next day to confirm the cancellation but would not refund any of the $180 we had paid for 4 nights, saying that they would not refund after September. This policy is really unreasonable. I cannot comment on the campground but certainly will never stay there and support this selfish management.

Was working in Lake Wales for 6 months and this is the first one that our crew stayed at. Around 6 RVs total. Many retired folks with flags being displayed. Wifi is pathetic however; working 6 days a week my TMobile worked excellent. Amazon even dropped off stuff at the office and wad delivered to your RV. After 10 days my friend with a toy trailer was told that it couldn't be there because it didn't have a hookup installed. After investigating I overheard some white board members make racial comments so our whole crew packed up and left down the road.

Our first visit to this campground was Jan & Feb of 2022. We pulled our camper from PA. It's south of Orlando in orange country, It's a small campground with some permanent residents, snowbirds and short term campers. It's nothing fancy, but there are some trees. The bathrooms are fantastically clean and the people friendly. There is much activity in the clubhouse with music jamming, cards, dominoes, movie night, bingo, church service, special dinners and shows. We loved it so much we bought a park model that became available for sale.

Stayed at this park during hurricane. They let us stay in library overnight. The employee are very friendly and accommodating. A few old trailers that really should go, one with broken window. We would definitely stay here again. Indoor swimming pool, library, game room and beautiful rec hall.

Nice campsite , clean , friendly people !

Nice campground and friendly people. We were at campsite 61 and voltage dropped low enough in afternoon to turn off surge protector. Switched water heater to gas and AC ran ok. Very nice area too. Grandma's restaurant was nice to eat at.

Beautiful campground when you need something in a jiffy. The staff works hard keeping the facilities clean. I would stay here again.
