If you’re rolling in with an RV, this place is basically the Ritz-Carlton on wheels. For us tent folks, the campsite itself was fine—nothing Instagram-famous—but the real magic here is the people. Huge shoutout to Payton, Brian, and Jules, who were absolute rockstars. They answered every question we threw at them, gave us insider tips, and even tried to hook us up with a better spot for our group. The beach was also a gem—clean, clear water that makes you want to stay in forever. Come for the camping, stay for the staff (and maybe the swim).

I find this campground a little bit rough? Considering it's a conservation area, the dumping is terrible for Rvs. If you know what i'm talking about, you know.

This park is a little crowded. However, it's clean and the beach is great. If you decided to stay here, I'm sure you'd enjoy the stay.

We were on site 124 and it's got quite a slope to it, our auto leveling system had an error code due to the slope. When we booked we had a choice of only 3 sites based on our length (36') but once we got there we saw many more sites that were empty that we would have fit onto. I'd say 99% of the sites are shade only so keep that in mind. We didn't use the beach because it was posted as unsafe and the weather was on the cooler side but it certainly looked nice. There is a nice walking trail there and you can walk into town on it. Saw a few run down seasonal trailers and they don't appear to have the 10 year rule here. Overall not a bad park for the cost

I absolutely LOVE this place. Super friendly people. Very well maintained and managed. Awesome walking, biking trails. Great for kayaking, boating, fishing. 5 minutes to walk into Lakefield Village which offers all amenities! Also wonderful news that the council voted to allow the campground to continue operating and people can continue to enjoy the experience and outdoors.

Had a great time! Everyone was very friendly, bathrooms were clean, beach was nice and fishing was good! Will definitely go back!

Nice place for camping with the kids. Only complaint was a guy giving me trouble for cutting firewood for cooking at 5 30 pm
