Nothing Special. Basically good for a one night stay. Checkin process is unclear. Bathroom was filled with cigarette smoke and there are some sketchy regulars.

Perfect for an overnight stay. We abandoned our reserved campsite in higher altitude and much colder temperatures for Lakehead Campground & RV Park. Super nice guy, very accommodating on Thanksgiving night. Our RV spot had power, water, and sewer. Perfect “port in a storm.”

This was an incredible experience. We were on our way to Bend, Oregon from central CA and weren’t sure where we were going to stop for the night. I called the phone number for this campground which looked perfect and a really nice gentleman answered explaining that we could stay the night and pay our camping fee. This was such a beautiful place! Quiet and peaceful as well! It was early in the season but we were so grateful to be able to experience this. We did tent camping and each lot is surrounded by trees and the lots are clean! At night saw the most stars I’ve ever had the chance of seeing in the sky. Thank you again to the kind person on the phone for letting us stay on such short notice. We appreciate you!

This place is PERFECT. The owner is a fantastic person to deal with. His one and only maintenance guy is one of the friendliest people I've met and does a great job maintaining the park. Bathrooms were in good shape and clean. Overall I'd say 6 stars out of 5. Definitely will be back.

Have camped here but we mostly come just for the pool. By noon, there is enough shade over the pool for ~4 people to stay out of the sun. It just gets more shady as the day goes on, which is perfect for me tender and pale Scottish skins. Bugs fall into the pool a lot from the shade trees, but that's easy to deal with. Pool is SUPER cold which is refreshing on a triple digit day. Please call to verify the day use fee for yourself but I don't think we have ever paid more than $20-30 total.

A nice and small RV park in a picturesque part of Northern California on the northern end of Shasta Lake that every RV'er will love. The road once in the park is narrow so those with over 30 foot trailers will find it tight.

Well, this review is not from a stay but just to drive through. We met with Cecil the manager and he was very nice and accommodating. Unfortunately due to all the negative conditions currently taking place, ie; the drought and the non-existent lake, last Summer's horrible wildfires that claimed so many thousands of acres and the pandemic all of the resorts are suffering. He quoted rates for the winter at $25 a night which is unheard of. The campsite itself looks nice each campsite is huge as some of them need a little bit of tightening up but that's to be expected. I will be making reservations and traveling there soon.

This campground was a convenient spot to stop on our way to CA from Oregon. It definitely is run down but I've seen worse. The full hook ups and pool feature were great because there was a heat wave while we were there. The pool was not the cleanest but with 106 degrees at arrival my kids and I were able to cool down our core while the RV AC got going. The trees were a welcome shade to us but the picnic table at spot 23 looked like it was going to fall apart at any moment. There were cigarette butts everywhere and the bathroom had frogs in the shower. Anyway, the price wasn't bad for full hookups and it is a good place for a halfway stop on any given trip. If you're self sufficient in your RV, I'd recommend coming here.
