There is a variety of camping sites types, they are spaced out and the campground has a TON of trees for privacy and shade. Beaches are large and pristine, store has essentials, souvenirs, and a pizzas and ice cream. Can't say enough about this campground.

This place is like heaven on Earth. My family has been going for years and we look forward to it every year. There's two lakeside beaches, options for cabins or tents trailers so if you are a die-hard camper or more of a glamper they've got you covered. It's a very friendly and positive atmosphere and very laid-back.

This is a campground so room rating is for quality of site. Many seasonal sites. We were there after Labor day so other than a few other campers on the weekend it was almost empty. The lake is beautiful. This is a long established campground, well kept but bathroom and showers, didn't use but old.We had full hookups 50 amps. Dylan was very helpful in guiding me into our site.which was a nice size nestled in the pines. I noticed that most sites were not long, call ahead, they are very friendly.

My family is heading to Lakeside Pines tomorrow for our 52nd year. Started going there at 14. What I love is pulling in every year to the same place like a time warp. It's comforting. Have brought 3 generations up there. Since 1972. Holds so much memories of great people great staff and an amazing 2 weeks every August. ❤️❤️❤️

Rustic simple haven amongst massive pines. But, even with 70 degree nights, it was so still and thick below the dense trees that we sweated like pigs. It rained two of those 70 degree nights, and we were dripping. The lovely breeze at the shoreline stopped there and at dusk. Our site 23 was listed as 20 amp, with a 15 amp outlet. But it had a 30 amp glass fuse in the disconnect above the plug. Most of the full timers around us had their own meters, and we got to listen to their A/C units run all night. This campground obviously doesn't want outsiders. They just want to fill every resulting vacant spot to their advantage. No refunds within 14 days, and penalties before then. Dismissive and indifferent office staff. Oh yes, pay mildewed showers as well. Don't buy into this. Keep driving, and just enjoy the public beach on your way to some other deserving and practical campground.
