We have a membership here, and we love it! Some of the reviews talking about permanent residents were probably talking about our little area where we have our camper, and there are several other families who have their campers there as well. We don't live there, but we do keep our camper there year round so that we have a little oasis to come visit to relax and play. We live a little over an hour away in Wichita, and the fact that on any given weekend when we need to recharge, we can just get in the car and an hour later we're in a completely different environment from the urban environment we live in. We can see the stars here like no other because we don't have the light pollution from the city, and to just have the peace and quiet of nature where the only sounds you hear are the animals and insects instead of the constant traffic and sirens we hear in the city is soothing and recharges us. Our kids also love it because they can swim, go down the waterside, jump off the dock, play on the beach, and that's just right there on the lake. They can also ride their bikes, explore the trails, and just have way more freedom than they have in our neighborhood at home. There are several other families with kids that have memberships, and so the kids have their "lake friends" that will probably end up being life long friends because of the bonds they've made. It's to the point where we have to have "lake" birthday parties so they can see all of their friends. It truly is an amazing place to take your family.

Very quiet, extremely accommodating, I called last minute and they were able to get me onto a full hook up at the last minute. The owners were very friendly and easy to work with. If I am ever back in the area I will definitely stay here.

This little park is amazing, we stayed for 2 weeks my husband was working in the area. The owners and manager were great. We made new friends for life and can’t wait to come back one day.

We needed a place last minute due to another place being unavailable. I called at 9 30 p.m. and the phone was answered. They not only made room for us, in a 36 foot r.v. with tow, Jack @ 10 p.m. helped us hook up. Very nice people. The place is beautiful and quiet. A few miles from 135. Road is gravel for about 2 miles, so drive slow. If you appreciate beauty in nature and good people @ a very reasonable price. This is it.

Late March we stopped here planning on one overnight due to bad weather ahead. Yes, it's a gravel road. Drive slow. We chose a spot sheltered from wind and ended up staying three nights. Peaceful, quiet and inexpensive. 40' motorhome with tow, so we took a pull through with no sewer, which was fine with us. They have a dump station if needed. Really enjoyed relaxing and wandering the beach alone.
