Nice small park located in Lawson MO. It's a city park with a lake and 20ish campsites. Train runs close but rarely if ever blows its horn. So pretty much unnoticeable. Huge sites. Fire pit. Covered picnic table. Must eat at Catricks for breakfast if staying there. This park is well maintained. The camp host, Kyle, and his wife were very personable and helpful. It has facilities but we are self contained and didn't need them. Reasonably price too.

It is a campground for RVs, not a hotel. It has many spots and is nice and quiet, near a lake with walking path, has laundry facility and towns mearby and has a small park for the kiddos

This is a nice new small campground close to Lawson, MO. There is a playground for kids and a nice shelter for gatherings. No hotel accommodations and a nice lake.

I would have given a 10, but our site #1 was awful steep. I am not sure it should even be a site, unless they build it up to a more level place. Our rv stroked out in the front, and it was still not level. Other than that, it is a very nice, clean campground w'a nice playground and a lake nearby that have a paved/gravel path all the way around. There is a frisbee gold course that is well maintained. Our crew caught quite a few bass in the lake.

Beautiful campground; clean showers, helpful camp hosts, nice playground plus a group campfire area. Everything is kept up spotless. Great price!! Highly recommend. *** the only caveat is the bridge is out from town and you have to make a big loop to go in from the back way. (Take Hwy D to hwy KK. Go north to W 208th St. It will turn into Raum Rd. Stay on that and it’ll be on the left) But I’ll say, it’s worth it!!

Let me start with the one positives. The park and lake is nice with a nice clean view and walking trail it’s a nice place for kids and playground and The campground has full hooks. Okay now the negatives. I understand that this park is city owned and is new however they have much work to do. The main loop road is much to narrow to back any large rv into sites without going off the road and trust me unless you like damaging your rig then don’t do it. This campground is designed for small campers not RV’s or large 5th wheels. Sites are not level at all as you can see in my pic. I could not level my 5th wheel unless I lifted the tires off the ground which I did not do. Also sites are much lower than the road with no shoulders or pad wings for backing in. See pic. Park is very muddy because of seeding new lawns and not sodding. Now probably the biggest negative that we had out of all the site/pad problems is the noise. If you are looking for peace and quiet then I would not recommend this park. This park is built next to a train track and it is heavily used by long loud trains and I mean loud! It literally will send you into shock at 3am thinking that a helicopter is landing on your roof! This happens all through the day and night. We probably won’t be back to this campground for this one reason even if all other issues are corrected.

Nice, quiet place. Sights are Nice, some of fire pits are alittle off, but lake and walking trail are right behind campground.

We stayed here one night as we were passing through town, and it ended up being our favorite place in our 2.5 week trip across the country. The bathrooms are clean and spacious, plenty of room to play, quiet, and clean. Beautiful country setting. The train didn't bother us at night time since we sleep with a fan on. Would definitely stay again!

Nice new campground easy access, the train brought back childhood memories and walking around the lake was peaceful. We will be back!

Great campground! We loved the walking trail around the lake, he playground and Frisbee course was fun too. The grandkids loved the splash pad in Lawson only a few minutes from the campground. We were treated to a free concert at the shelter house hosted by the City of Lawson.
