Awesome place to go with family with kids to have fun and usially has a good music band on Saturday night for the adults. ADVISE. Get a spot facing north so the sun is at the back od the camper or you will have no escape from the sun heat.

Very clean. Cabin we stayed in was clean and comfortable. We brought our dog and they have a dog park, which was perfect for him to be able to run freely. The beach area was clean and the water was perfect! We really enjoyed our stay and looking forward to staying again. You can even just go for the day and enjoy the water.

We came here for 2 days on vacation and it was a really fun way to enjoy the lake and get away. My family loves the area where you can swim. They even had concessions and Snowballs for sale right next to it. Each campsite has a fire circle for roasting marshmallows or cooking hot dogs in the afternoon. Overall what if my favorite vacations I've ever been to. If you're reading this review and wondering if you should go or not the answer is clearly yes.

Our family loves Lakeview for a long summer weekend "away". The beach is fun for kids of all ages, and they enjoy playing bingo and listening to a few songs from the band in the Barn. It's a must do, especially if you live in the Acadiana area and haven't visited yet!

Great little camp ground. Live music in the old barn. Great bar prices in the barn and a large dance floor. Go pass a good time!

Lakeview Park is a great place. The park is nicely laid out. I was there during Balfa week to listen to the great music. Nice place 👌

What a great relaxing day with friends and family. The music was great donated by Leroy Thomas, the dancing was fun and the food cooked and donated by Ronnie Nunez was the best 👌. Plans are to visit soon.

Not terrible but needs some work. We stayed in cabin 1 and the split mini AC was leaking on the floor in the bedroom. Maintenance did come fix the leaky AC right away. Staff was very friendly. The cabin smelled of damp musk even maybe mildew. The mattress is past time to replace it not comfortable at all and all springs. The fold out couch was the more comfortable spot but very firm. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking. The lake was nice just wish they carried more beer options. Said they sold Dos Equis but they did not have it. They were out of buckets each day so had to bring a foldable ice chest in to keep beer cold. For 200 a night I would have expected the bed to be in better condition.

Enjoyed our first stay here over this past weekend. Spots are level and spacious as well as shaded. Plenty of activities to keep the kids busy and the Mardi Gras festivities were a blast! Will definitely stay again!

We stayed for the first time with our kids for the Children's Mardi Gras weekend. We all had so much fun. There were so many activities and fun things to do. Our kids decorated capuchons (authentic Mardi Gras hats and masks), we drove our decorated golf cart in the parade through the park, then our kids participated in the chicken run! There was a Cajun zydeco band after. We can't wait to go back during the summer!

Came here for a wedding. The barn facility was nice but floor warped quite a bit. I hear they will be repairing it soon. Campground seemed nice with small beach and ponds. Will probably come camp here in future.

Had a wonderful time this weekend. We entered the annual beef tongue cookoff and really enjoyed it. I found the staff gracious and accommodating. I would give a 5 star if it wasn't that they allowed campers to continue to play music and talk loudly after quiet time. So sleeping was difficult both nights we were there. All in all we had a great time.
