Straight Forward, Down to Earth people who run the place, great bass fishing in the kiddie pond, full of brim, crappie and catfish too. Swimming pool hot tub and laid back neighbors. Been here for over 10 years and have made many great memories.

I found a review from 3 years ago very similar to my experience here. Was here around 6-7 years about 2 years ago they rented out our spot To one of their relatives and we had to find another spot in the lot. . . I Had to take a day off work drive over hour one way to move the camper. We stayed because our children loved the experience. Their friend also stayed beside us and was drunk by 9 am he even shut off our electricity one night with our baby in 90 degree weather. Well now we get a notice our lease has been terminated because we didn’t pay on time 30 days in advance which isn’t correct because our contract shows we still had 60 days when contacting the park owners and explaining to them we were to have 60 days by the contact they said our spot was already spoken for. They said they sent a notice but they didn’t. No advanced notices or anything which is extremely disappointing after being there so long. The vibe I got though is they got more money for the spot so they found a reason to kick us out and move someone else in this is just bad business and a huge inconvenience to our family I hope no other families make the mistake to go here then be booted out because they got more money or wanted one of their relatives in the park. And the post from 3 years ago is correct they have all their relatives there and friends yes they do play favorites for them we had to move our camper and everything to make room for one of their relatives who liked. Our spot which may be another reason our spot became Unavailable again to make room for a friend or relative the pool is outdated and the hottub was dirty and broke down all year Last year has went down hill since new owners took over

We've had our camper on a lot there for 5 years and have no plans of moving it. The owners John & Gayle have retired and their daughter Erin and her husband are now managing the park; doing an wonderful job! The roads are being well maintained, the park is clean and security is even better now that Erin's family lives at the entrance. They have a beautiful pool, fishing ponds for the kids and if there is any problem or concern they are all over it. I'm not sure what Mark's title is there, maybe a manager or possibly Jack of all Trades. He does a lot of labor work around the park and does not know a stranger! He befriends everyone, provides firewood and also lives on the property. Together they all make a good team and we are very happy to call this place our home at the lake! The only reason I am not giving a 5th star is that I believe they still have a little work to do concerning a few trees. The park has beautiful old oak trees but some are suffering from their environment on a rocky ridge, causing them to rot inside while still looking good but they can be dangerous in storms. I think a few select trees need to be removed. I do think that they are concerned about this as well because I noticed that one was recently removed on our side of the park. Keep up the good work Lakeview team! Our family appreciates all the hard work you do to keep the park looking so beautiful!
