Lakewood RV Resort is a fantastic place for anyone that’s needing a quality vacation! We have been there for the past two fall seasons and we love everything going on, from the decorations to the musical review. We’ve already made reservations for next year!

This is a friendly, safe, and fun campground for our family with little children (7 & 4). The location is great! I loved having access to the beach, which was a quick 5 minute walk from the middle of the campground. They have a lot of fun activities for the family including large slides, pool, splash pad, indoor pool/jacuzzi, playground, mini golf, paddle boats, and playground. They have a general store with food and ice cream. The location is also nice to access stores and great restaurants. The full hookups were very convenient and nice. The customer service was also very positive and kind. We will be back. I highly recommend this place.

Been coming here nearly 40 years. We enjoyed it so much, now our adult kids and grandkids come too. Now 4 generations have enjoyed this place. Handicap friendly Nice bath houses strategically placed Excellent coffee shop, trading post and arcade. They are always improving the resort.

Our family and little dog had a fantastic vacation at Lakewood Camping Resort. This was our third year attending the Resort and as usual we were not disappointed. The staff were busy keeping maintenance completed and we had an array of fun festivities to attend. Of course, access to the beach was clear and easy to reach for beach gear transfer. The handicap accommodations were a new addition and a pleasantly needed feature. Thank you Lakewood Camping Resort for a much needed week of fun in the sun. The Hawley Family

We were absolutely wonderful camping resort. The people are friendly and helpful. The sites for the most part are amazing. One critical thing to note is that each site is very unique. I highly recommend to drive around and check out every site before settling on one. Some sites have completely different sewer, hook ups than others, the first one we were sent to actually had a broken pipe with no thread at all. They do know which sites are concrete and otherwise they do not know which sites are grass or sand. Book with caution, but once you are in, it is a wonderful wonderful beachfront campground. I cannot highly more highly recommend this after spending time at North Myrtle Beach Beach RV Resort & Marina as well as Ocean Lakes, the ladder I stay at strictly only for booked events where we have no other choice. Rooms/RV SITES in my case are hit and miss, book with information and knowledge. Also, getting them on the phone requires IMMENSE patience, hold times averaged for us over 3 calls, 43 minutes. Once you’re in the building, the service is amazing and they are absolutely friendly, smiling, and professional.

Lakewood is our all time favorite RV Resort at Myrtle Beach for over twenty years. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Lots of activities for the grandkids. Oceanfront sites are what I enjoy most. We were there last week and can see you are making improvements. Hope to see you again later this year.

It is very nice location. The indoor pool is just ok. I wish it was a little bigger and it seems to need some repairs or updates (which was happening when we were there). The outdoor water park with water slides is very nice. However, the mini golf and paddle boats are kind of run down. It doesn't seem to be kept up well. The bath houses are pretty nice. No complaints there. Not many sites have concrete pads. Most are dirt/sand sites. It seems when we have been there they are always making repairs, which is a good thing, but have caused problems for us - like our water in our camp site was down for a time and the bathrooms to the indoor pool are not available.

Love this place. The sites are big where you don't feel on top of your neighbor. Friendly staff. Price is right. Plenty to do for adults and kids. Love the beach you can enjoy it day or night. The campground is far enough away of the hustle and bustle of the hotel strip so less commotion. Our go to camping resort.

Our first time staying at Lakewood, we stayed for two weeks at Thanksgiving and loved it. Montana's fish fry was an added bonus! We happened to be there for the craft fair, which provided lots of very unique, adorable Christmas gifts. We were surprised at how busy it was for Thanksgiving. We are planning to return for Christmas and New Year. The store has a nice selection of essentials and walmart is nearby for everything else. We found lots of shark teeth nearby at the beach. The heated pool and hot tub were a huge hit with my kids. I didn't visit the shower house but my teen daughters used them everyday and were very happy with them.
