Stayed one night June 27th. Site #316 was able to accommodate our 43 ft class A plus tow without a problem. Nice grounds, quiet, very convenient to I26. Just wish they had a trash can at the dog park.

Mike and Cheryl here. We have a 44 foot Class A RV. Here is my review of Lakewood RV Resort. Road to: Good, close to interstate. Road inside: Paved and gravel and in good condition. Trees: All well trimmed. Check in: Medium size office short distance from entrance. Everyone was friendly. Parking: Medium size parking area. Seasonal campers: Yes, but everyone has a nice place. Signage: good Site 330: Gravel pad, but level. Had table, no fire pits. View: Not much, but the grounds are nice. Site spacing: Good Bathhouse: Nice. Laundry room: Nice. Swimming pool: Open and heated. Club house: Yes. Fitness area: Yes. Grounds: Good. TV: Over air worked good. Wifi: Did not use. So here is the bad: None. Sites 348, 347 would be my first choice. This resort was kind enough to allow me to stay there even though I am under 55 years old. They opened the place to people like me coming to work the storm damage. The staff was always good to me, the people that seem to live there were always nice to me as well. If I ever make it out there again maybe they’d be willing to let me stay there again even though I’m not 55.

We didn't have a spot reserved and the nice folks in the office found us a spot. Steep hill in/out of campground but not a issue. Bathrooms were clean. Great service.

What a nice place to stay. Staff were quite nice and everyone in the park was friendly. The coffee and biscuits on Tuesday was delicious and a good way to meet people. Sites were large enough that you were not crammed in to a spot. The only down side is there are no fires allowed. We will stay here again when in the area. I found the cable to be sufficient . The wifi could be better but I understand if you want better connections it is available for a $

Nice and quiet 55+ park. We are full-timers here. The owners are present and friendly. Knowledgeable staff. They all work together to keep up on keeping the park in good shape. Utilities included, upgrade available on wifi, fun activities. Amenities include a seasonal heated pool, mini-golf, exercise room, community center, small dog park. More expensive than some RV parks, but worth it. We'll be here awhile - come join us!

We had a bad travel day. Called Lakewood to let them know we would be late. We pulled in after dark tired and stressed. We were met by the managers who welcomed us even after hours and escorted us to our sites with assistance on backing in. Thank you. We got up next morning to walk the park and there was a Saturday breakfast for 7 dollars. We had a great breakfast eggs sausage pancakes biscuits and gravy coffee and orange juice. Everyone was friendly and said hi or waved. We were only on an overnight stay so we got back on the road. Traveled with truck and 35 ft 5th wheel. Tricky to get in after dark. Follow the directions on website. It is a neat park, sections for campers and sections separate for park models. It is a 55 and over park. We would stop again.
