Campground entrance is tricky. It is directly next to road making it hard to enter from the right side. Gated so has a keyboard on the right side of the truck which means you need to put on emergency flashers, get out and enter numbers to enter the park. You can get a remote once in if you are either full time or 6 month. Property is clean and well cared for except it needs weed killer on all sites as the stickers are horrible. Clubhouse has all amenities in the same building. It has a nice size gym. Small pool but OK for the size of the park. Has its own mailroom but limited access due to office only open M-T 9-3. If you have medication it needs to be delivered directly to your site not mailroom. The staff is all new this year so they are in a learning curve. They are very sweet and patient which makes it nice to go talk to them. The residents are also very nice and we were greeted kindly. Lots of things to do, card games, crafts, sewing, pickleball, RC race track, swimming and fun Activites weekly. Price for the size of the sites is very good compared to other parks we looked at. Come and stay you won’t be sorry.

This place was great. Plenty of room on site for our large rig. Stayed two weeks and loved it. Management was very friendly and accommodating. In fact, we got a call on our last day making sure we were happy with our stay and the offer of hot coffee before we pulled out.

Great place with very friendly people!! The assistant manager Cynthia who works the front desk will definitely make you feel right at home when you check in!! She is very professional and attentive to all concerns one may have..Come check out this hidden gem in Harlingen...Very close to South Padre island and Progreso...😎

We have been staying at Encore Lakewood all summer, and just signed a year lease. The staff is so friendly, and went out of their way to get us the best pricing for our situation. Every time I have had a question, they have been very responsive. They send out clear communication about everything going on at the park. Now that the winter Texans are starting to arrive, I am looking forward to more activities to participate in.

A 55+ moble home park with a lot of rv sites catering to those wishing to spend the winter out of the cold. Staff was super friendly. Close to any shopping one could desire. Gated community so expect to punch in a gate code to enter. The park has plenty of entertainment options for those wishing to spend time socializing. Neighbors were super friendly. 40 or so TV channels with the antenna, 5G UC with T-moble. Sites are level, grass with a concrete patio. Rates are reasonable, I visited during high season, many guests from the upper mid west! I would not hesitate coming back!
