If I could give 0 stars I would. Campground doesn’t clearly post policies prior to booking, accepts payment in full, then decides when and what policies to enforce as they see fit. They will deactivate your key card and lock you out from all your belongings while you’re actively trying to comply with the supposed policy. And rest assured, if they want you gone they’ll come up with some other thing you need or some other policy they didn’t mention before. It’s a moving target. They advertise as family friendly but everything is so dirty you can’t let small children down by themselves, even in the cabins. Years of cobwebs under the beds, despite a worker actively “cleaning” it when we arrived. Entire cabin pitched forward at an uncomfortable slope, bed frames so worn they dump you in the floor if you sit in the wrong spot. Absolutely no lights from cabins to see to get to the bathroom, which is not even on the same street. Bathrooms are absolutely filthy, covered in black mold, missing shower fixtures. It’s a campground, it’s not like we expected luxury. But when the cost is over $100 a night, I’d at least expect not to be harassed when I’m already being taken advantage of financially. The park is also NOT kid friendly, especially for special needs children who may have difficulty moderating volume. Even during the day, you and your children will be absolutely screamed at by both staff and patrons alike for enjoying the campground. We’ll be leaving early so as not to ruffle anymore feathers with our “dangerous” 7 year old fully vetted and trained dog, and we apologize for not having pristine records from her date of birth when we weren’t told we needed them prior to check in and are 13 hours away from her vet clinic, which is a low cost weekend clinic 🥴 But hey, I guess they can charge even more when they rebook the holiday weekend now that we’re leaving!!

My family and I will never return to Lamb City Campground. The staff make up rules on the spot and clearly don’t like having kids around. They don’t even seem to know their own policies. When we checked in, they asked for proof of our dog’s rabies vaccine, so we got the receipt and presented it. Then, out of nowhere, they demanded a completely different shot record that has nothing to do with rabies. After giving them exactly what they asked for, they suddenly changed their requirements and acted like we were in the wrong. On top of that, I paid $20 for a key card, only for them to disable it and lock me and my child out of our own cabin. This also barred us from access to our controlled medications, which could easily be considered a serious legal issue. ⚠️ Warning: If you have disabled family members, especially autistic children, stay far away. They made it clear they don’t want them in the park in any capacity. The whole experience was rude, confusing, and unwelcoming. Because of this, we ended up leaving a day early. If you’re looking for a family-friendly campground that actually knows what it’s doing, I suggest you look anywhere else. Horrible people, horrible policies – stay far away. Well, I guess they’ll be able to charge more for the holiday weekend.

Mostly seasonal sites, but they do have a number of transient sites available. We have a 40ft motorhome pulling a Jeep and we were able to access our site. Parked on the grass, but it was very firm. Rained for 2 days and there were very few puddles and no mud. Staff were very friendly.

Great campground, very quiet, and everyone is friendly. Kim and TJ, who run it, are very accommodating and knowledgeable. 1st year as seasonal and we'll be back next year.

One of our favorites. Staff is very friendly. I like the rules of this place. I enjoyed riding my bike around and up and over to red apple farm. Beautiful pond, dogs can swim, just know there are snapping turtles. Store has a great variety of things you might need. Secure space and not worried about theft at all. Decent sized spaces compared to most places we have been. We will probably be back.

Can't say enough nice things about Lamb City Campground. Family oriented, clean, easy access off Rt. 2, swimming pools, hiking trails, beach to boat or kayak from. Red Apple Farm is a hike away or few minutes by car. They have the best hot apple cinnamon doughnuts.

This campground is well managed and is owned and operated by a wonderful family. I was a novice to owning a camper and the owners were very knowledgeable as well as always willing to help and to teach you what you need to know to take care of your camper. Campground rules were clear, fair and were enforced which made for a wonderful environment to enjoy nature without unruly guests. Kathy, Ted, TJ and Kim - Thank you for a wonderful summer!

I don’t usually give bad reviews views to any type of local business, as my theory is if you can’t say something nice then don’t say anything at all. However, I was a customer there the past three years and my last experience was absolutely horrible! I will start off by saying that the owners are not very pleasant people to begin with, but I had always put that aside because I enjoyed the camping experience with my children, plus where I’m always smiling, happiness is contagious! 🙂 Also, It is local and I liked the convenience . Well this last time I was screamed, humiliated and YELLED at in front of my children over some misunderstandings. I realize every campground has rules and regulations and I would NEVER Intentionally disrupt them. I got a bit confused about some of the rules, which can easily happen when you have memory problems. I happen to be a single mother of three children and obviously exhausted trying to keep up with all of them running around and also, entertaining my elderly parents and other family members who came to visit. I never had an issue with visitors prior to this. But for some reason THEY did. So I apologized (even though I was not at fault) and expressed my concerns. The lady didn’t care and I was treated in an unprofessional and disrespectful manner. As tears were in my eyes because of how embarrassed she made me feel , I decided to leave immediately. Within an hour I managed to pack up, what took me 3 hours to set up with 3 children and the chaos. All while crying... When I went to drop off my key, the store was closed. So I left in in mailbox. They clearly run a poor business and are extremely unprofessional when it comes to keeping things in order. I will never be going back there again. I do not recommend this campground to anyone with children or any type of disability . On the last note ....as far as the camping grounds, I found them to be extremely dirty, bathrooms where not clean and cabins not kept up! Also, the arcade area was not functioning. Which is important for kids on rainy days. I lost several dollars because none of them worked. The two years prior was not as bad but this last year and everything seem to be run down.
