Lambert's Cafe RV Park

Overview

Lambert's Cafe RV Park offers a straightforward and convenient stay for travelers passing through Southwest Missouri. Located directly behind the famous Home of the Throwed Rolls, this park serves as a reliable home base for those exploring the Ozarks. While it functions primarily as a transit-oriented park rather than a destination resort, it provides a clean and well-maintained environment for RVers who value ease of access and proximity to local landmarks.

Location & Surroundings

Situated in Ozark, Missouri, the park is ideally positioned just off US Highway 65, making it a perfect midway point between Springfield and Branson. The surrounding area features a mix of commercial convenience and scenic Ozark hills. Travelers will find themselves within walking distance of the restaurant and a short drive from the historic downtown Ozark square, where the Finley River provides a picturesque backdrop for local exploration.

Amenities & Park Features

The park is designed with modern RV needs in mind, offering a range of practical features to ensure a smooth stay:

  • Level concrete pads designed to support heavy big-rigs.
  • Reliable full hookups including 30 and 50-amp electrical service.
  • On-site laundry facilities and private shower houses.

The layout is optimized for maneuverability, offering spacious pull-through sites that simplify the setup process for late-night arrivals or early departures.

Nearby Attractions & Things to Do

The primary draw is undoubtedly Lambert's Cafe, where guests can enjoy a short stroll to experience legendary southern-style cooking. Beyond the dining room, visitors are only twenty minutes away from the Wonders of Wildlife National Museum and Aquarium. Nature enthusiasts can explore the Smallin Civil War Cave or spend an afternoon at Finley Farms. For those seeking entertainment, the vibrant theaters of Branson are a straightforward drive to the south.

Who This Park Is Best For

This park is an excellent fit for transit travelers looking for a secure and comfortable spot to rest while navigating the region. It is particularly ideal for big-rig owners who prioritize level sites and reliable utilities over extensive recreational amenities. Families and couples visiting the Ozarks will appreciate the central sightseeing base, which allows them to avoid heavy traffic while remaining close to top-tier local attractions.

You cannot book online. You just have to hope and pray you can get a spot and we were not willing to chance it.

The RV park is seriously crowded and overpriced for what you get. It seems to be mostly filled with permanent residents. But the food in the restaurant is great and I would definitely recommend that.

Probably one of the seediest places I’ve ever stayed in my life. This campground was disgusting to say the least. It was nothing but a hodgepodge of old dilapidated campers that looked like were living there full time. No amenities at all. The only decoration was a busted up wooden wagon in pieces on a rusty flatbed trailer. It was so awful that I refused to even get out of the RV. Paid $44 for absolutely nothing at all.

Only 3 stars because I didn't like my food. I had ribs & they were very dry. When asked how i liked the food, i told him it was dry, so he brought me some bbq sauce. It was still dry. The only really good food item was the roll. Nice, hot & soft. 💛 BBQ sauce was hit or miss? It was a miss for me. The waiter was very nice. Would we eat there again? Proly not.

Completely gravel lot, light post by each hookup, full hookups, great wifi, excellent water pressure. It's a little pricey but the hookups are excellent, wifi is faster than most places, and you can't beat the location. There's some highway noise but not as bad as I had expected.
