This place is a great RV option in Revelstoke. The best thing is how clean and tidy and knew all the facilities. The best we have encountered in Canada so far. Great staff, super friendly. Close to train track but trains seem to be near all RV sites. Wasnt an issue.

What a great campground in Revelstoke. Very nice owners and the restrooms and showers were clean and spacious. A great feature is the camp kitchen where you can wash dishes, use a microwave and power for small or tent campers. A great playground for kids and dog friendly as well. There are trains but in our camper we never really heard it and slept great. Make sure to add this as a great place to camp in Revelstoke.

Loved Lamplighter! They picked the perfect spot for my dog, our little vintage trailer and me, a bit away from the busy part of the campground. The wonderful Rachel in the office said that the staff really thinks about the needs of the guests when they assign the sites. I love that!! Rachel was fabulous, delightful to chat with and had some great recommendations for dog friendly hikes in the area! I would highly recommend this fabulous campground, with very well maintained facilities, free hot showers and perfectly situated, only a few minutes from town! The railroad runs right next to it but it didn't bother me!

It's a nice, rather small but super packed Campground. Every meter is used to have a lot for your camper. Apparently, we had a 3 service position, but I didn't get how to put our drain into the appropriate whole. It was just way too far away and also blocked by the neighbors. There was no privacy between the different van spots. And of course, you also heard the train which seemed to be pretty close to the campground. The tent spots looked a little nicer as they were to the back. However, we were positively surprised by the service building. It offered pretty new washing machines and dryers for cad 3 in coins each. Also, it had a little indoor possibility to clean your plates and also have a sit-in. My highlight was the nice showers, which just looked like at home. Not the typical campground boxes but actual showers with tiles on the wall.

Stayed here mostly for the showers and I'm glad I chose this place. Beautiful washrooms, kept very clean and showers had great pressure and nice hot water. The campground itself is also pretty nice and well maintained. Everyone else staying here was friendly as well which was a bonus. The front desk guy also was able to get me a spot last minute, which I was very appreciative of!

We were very happy we stopped at Lamplighter Campground on our way home at the end of our vacation. We planned on staying two nights but enjoyed it so much we stayed at 3rd night. Joy was wonderful dealing with a tired hungry traveler and was very accommodating at finding us the spot to fit our needs. Joy and James are both very friendly and keep their campground very clean and have the most beautiful washrooms and a fantastic camp kitchen. Thank you for making the last couple of days of our holidays very relaxing and enjoyable.

Awesome campground, walking distance to downtown for us and there is a pub not too far away. The operators are friendly and the place is immaculate and clean. Flush toilette and hot free showers. Also laundry machines for a cost. Nice camp kitchen facility. Witnessed them even cleaning the garbage bins. Other visitors have also been super friendly. We will definitely be back when we visit again.

This campground and town are super cool! The staff was super friendly and I can’t rave enough about the showers and bathroom. It is free and brand new. It is lined with tile and stone with hot water and awesome shower pressure. It is close by to town with a beautiful walking bridge. The town has a vintage vibe and has cool restaurants and shops. We would definitely stay again!
