We had an unexpected medical emergency in the immediate family and had to be rushed to the emergency room by ambulance the night before our arrival. Even with medical documentation from a doctor land-o-pines would not give us a CREDIT to return another time. Didn’t ask for a refund just a credit… No compassion for such a serious situation, with medical documentation. They do not deserve anyone’s business. Update since I can’t reply to the comment. We have medical documentation but weren't even provide the opportunity to present the documentation. When called the lady we spoke to “talked to the manager” and manager said it was too late… sorry we can not predict medical emergencies. We had a similar situation happen 3 years ago and sun in ponchatoula was very accommodating and provided a credit. And we had no choice but to come because you all wouldn’t provide a credit and we aren’t just gonna give you our money. We already lost out on one night…

I have not camped here, although it sure feels familiar, like I did. I do, however go in every once in a while. The access to the river is probably my favorite part of the camp ground. White sandy beach and crystal clear ice cold water. It's semi secluded, but I can get crowded one in a while, from what we have been told. The park offers season passes, with access to a water slide and putt putt golf, and they have a descent swimming pool. It's in a country setting in Covington on Million Dollar Rd. There is a lot of natural beaut. Several different types of trees and trails worth exploring. During the summer the have live bands and video games, as well as snacks and refreshments.

Haven't been in close to 30 years but little has changed (in a good way). Staff is polite and grounds are thoroughly well kept. Night hours on the pool were great on the extremely hot summer days. Always have and always will love being able to walk up and down the creek. Only negative is that everything is priced individually. A rental covers 5 for the weekend but any guests is a daily charge, amount varies depending on what they want to do while visiting. Golf carts are also separate plus a change from the campground. Overall amazing experience. Wish their were more physical cabins vs RVs but also understand an RV is a one stop shop with all necessities included.

My family and I decided to stay the night unexpectedly just because of how much fun we truly had. We made so many great family memories! From the beach, pool ,slide , playground, Mini-golf and an arcade! This weekend they had an event going on for the families. They put over 200 gold coins out for the kids to find and if you got lucky, you get a golden dollar when you turn your gold in at the store. The girls got lucky and found two each! We even enjoyed all the amenities they offered. Their ice cream was a nice treat for us too! My husband & I just loved the community. Everyone was so polite and we can’t wait to book our next camping trip at Land-o-pines!! Thank you so much for the hospitality & making such a safe family oriented place for families to make unforgettable memories!

I grew up going to land—o-pines as a kid and some of my favorite memories growing up are from there. I had not been back since I was a teenager in ‘97. I am now married with children and was looking for a place to bring my family before school starts. I decided to bring them to LOP and am so glad I did. My kids absolutely loved it like I used to. We rented a small cabin. F2 I believe. It was clean, the A/C worked great, and it had cable tv (to fall asleep to). Everything we needed! The staff were all great, and most of them that we spoke to had been there since I used to go there as a child. We will definitely start going back as much as we can.

We absolutely LOVE everything about this campground. The staff is amazing, especially Dustin, who is so kind and helpful. We live in and are natives from Chattanooga, Tennessee and have been to LOP twice, but are now making this place our tradition for the 4th of July. Worth the 8 hour trip! The waterslide, Bingo, golf cart parade, corn hole tournament, pool, animals, playgrounds…all make it so much fun! We even brought some TN friends last year with us who can’t wait to go back too. The best are the local Lousianians!!! They are like kinfolk but with cooler accents and amazing food! We can’t wait to see everyone there each year for years to come!

This is our place to go as a family. We love coming here. We got a little paint spot on the pick nick table last year while we were painting rocks (me and my son) and every time we come we look for it and look back at those memories. We always head to the cafe Du Monde and get coffee and beignets the morning we wake up and spend the day fishing, looking for bugs, painting rocks, roasting marshmallows and doing crafts. We love how everything is conveniently placed to be close enough to things we need but far enough to feel like camping. Definitely a place to come and raise your kids. There can be middle of the night noise issues but they are cracking down and enforcing the curfew. The staff has always felt like family and we really like that. If you aren’t about the big overcrowded campgrounds this is a good place to be. We love our little camp place.

I've been coming here annually since 1996!! Love the place! All of the staff are great. We love that it's still family owned. Awesome activities. My kids love this place and I love that it gets them outdoors and off the tech. Beautiful river views!!

I want to THANK all the staff especially Ms. Candy for the Best weekend ever. Took my whole crew of 15 out to Land-O-Pines for a family gathering for the weekend and had such a blast. Will definitely do it again. Rented a site that had a camper and bunkhouse. Everything was clean, a/c worked great. Had a blast in the pool and the slide.

This place was great. I asked for a site close to facilities and they were close. I was also impressed with the staff and the permiate guests were friendly. I highly recommend staying here.

Park was not what it used to be. Let's make this quick. Dogs off leashes, party's not shut down at 10pm, kids driving golf carts, pool disgusting (GREEN). I was charged $60 for a insured, licensed street legal dune buggy with a tag for the month. This was the worst management in red truck yelling at me for cleaning property from leaves. I was confronted very rudely and do not appreciate it. Which I later found out this is normal for this guy. Was going to stay another month here for Christmas but went to another camp ground. I have PTSD and for that whole month didn't enjoy going outside anymore. Because of this.

Horrible park came and visited family here. Park not taken care of. Tons of cats just roaming around. Ran down for sure. Don’t play on the play equipment either it might break or give you aids.

Love it here! People that run it are great! Tons of weekend activities! So much fun! My kids (all 5) LOVE IT! Been here for a month and they really saved the day for me and my family. We needed a place to stay and couldn't find ANYTHING due to Ida and Halloween events. This is my first travel assignment at a hospital and they were able to make special arrangements. Can't thank them enough!!!
