We have stayed at this location twice and have enjoyed it both times. They are large enough to have lots of amenities but still feel quiet and secure with the gated entry. The laundry facilities have always been clean and well-kept with the machines all in working order. The views from the pier are beautiful and they offer many waterfront sites. Staff is friendly and helpful. We will definitely choose to stay here any time we are in town!!! Highly recommend!!

We had a waterfront campsite and it did not disappoint. The view was great, staff were friendly, the campsite was clean and level, and it was a short drive to the Surf City bridge. We had a blast fishing, walking our dogs, and just hanging out. The only hiccup was a good water tank they needed to correct. We were notified via text that the water would be cut off at a specific time the next morning, which was great, but the water was cut off early so it impacted our ability to clean our tanks on our checkout day.

Me and my wife stayed Oct17-19 for 2 nights on Lot 10A Grey. The view was amazing , daily views of cranes flying by, wildlife and Sunday morning we saw 4or5 dolphins swimming into the inlet and splashing around feeding and what not for 1hr atleast so that was pretty sweet .The sunsets each evening were epic. Quiet and peaceful campsites and friendly long terms as well. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and will be back next season.

The campground was clean, well maintained throughout, and had lots of amenities to enjoy! Was pleasantly surprised to find the dog bath behind the arcade, which was much needed unexpectedly for us, and that alone was enough to warrant the 5 star review from me! Staff was friendly and called us ahead of check in to make sure we were getting there in time to check in, then worked with us when we were delayed. Will definitely book here again when we return to town.

Place was absolutely perfect for a quick getaway with my family to the beach. We stayed this past weekend and the campground was quiet since the summer rush was over. We were able to hangout and have our own space. It is a 5 minute drive over the bridge to the beach and 5 minutes to restaurants! If you have a camper or RV and you need a place to stay, this spot is perfect. We will be back!

We would recommend The Inlet to anyone wanting 1st class service. They offer so much at a really reasonable price. The pool was awesome. So peaceful and near everything you need at the beach. Bathhouses were spotless. All around one of the best vacations we have had. We will be back again!

This is as one of the best beach vacations I’ve had with my family. The sites and facilities are super clean and well maintained. Office staff is super friendly and helpful. They are able to accommodate larger campers (we have a 42 ft 5th wheel). Full hook ups as well! The location is amazing and is only 2 miles from the beach access. 100% recommend The Inlet for long term or short term camping. We will definitely be back next summer.

We loved staying here at our premium waterfront spot. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and the neighborhood was quiet. There are quite a bit of long term campers on the property to be mindful of but we had expected that. The location is ideal! So close to the beach, only a few minutes and over the bridge to get there. Awesome location and peaceful atmosphere. No loud parties and strict adherence to quiet times and speed limits are respected by all! Definitely a recommended spot. We will be back!

Went for a memorial weekend getaway, Had a great time! It was relaxing and fun. Our son loved the pool and playground. We were in spot 102. We have stayed a couple of times and love being on a spot out by the water. We also were in spot 100 in NOV. 2024 It was awesome seen some more upgrades the Swings by the pier are a great addition.

We came down for our anniversary this past week and let me tell you it does not disappoint. We are adding this onto our list to keep coming too. We were in spot 100 thanks to the amazing Linda and the views were amazing. It is peaceful and quiet. We are already wanting to book our next trip. We brought our dogs and kayaks and the boat ramp and pier are well maintained. I cannot wait to come back here during the summer with our kiddos to use the play ground, pool and arcade. Such a great gem we found here !

Beautiful views, friendly staff. Our site was nice, perfectly level and big. We loved the on-site pier. We'll be back in a few weeks to check out the pool!

Definitely enjoyed being there they are extremely nice hopeful excepted my disabled kids who have autism and went for my sons birthday n mothers day last year and will be returning again this year my son talks about celebrating his 6th birthday there every day so he is super excited to be celebrating another birthday there

I recently completed a 6-month cross country RV road trip stopping in 35 of 50 states. I've stayed at some of the best RV Campgrounds in the country, as well as some of the worst. Lanier's Campground is without a doubt one of THE best RV Campgrounds that I have ever stayed! While the views are beyond breathtaking (nearly every site has either a partial water view, directly on the water, or it's a quick 5-minute walk to the inter-coastal waterway. ), the real magic behind Lanier's Campground lends credit to the incredible staff and maintenance support teams that work the grounds. Every single time I walk into the office, I'm greeted with a warm smile. Driving through the park it's common to receive a wave and a "Good Morning / Evening!" from current campers and long-term tenants. I've enjoyed my stay so much that I've decided to stay much longer than originally planned. Thank you Lanier's Campground team for making my transition as a new North Carolina resident a wonderful experience!
