Updating our review as the owner reached out to us personally to rectify the situation. The lady who we interacted with during our stay unfortunately was not very nice but luckily the owner is a very good person and apologized on her behalf. I wish we would have got a chance to meet him in person as he is someone we would definitely give our business to. If we pass through the area we would stay again based on his customer service. Thank you Eric. The campground itself- newly renovated bathrooms and variations of sites available to book, some of which look really neat and well done (decks with fire pits and chairs overlooking the creek)

We only stayed one night as we were just passing through. The presidential site we booked was absolutely stunning. The staff are very friendly. They take your trash for you and if you need firewood or anything from their store they’ll deliver it right to your site. We used the on site laundry, pool (which is nice and warm), and personal grills which made our stay all the more comfortable. The grounds feel safe and are kept clean. Would definitely recommend and hope to visit again someday.

We’ve been staying at the campground for the last 10 or more years during the Sturgis Rally. It’s quiet and right dab in the middle of everything. While we miss the breakfast they used to put on they still do a Barbecue of chicken and pork a few nights of the rally and have a great DJ playing. The food this year was phenomenal! They also have a great little camp store. The owners and staff are awesome! The showers and laundry is super clean!! They pick up your trash and deliver your wood! The prices during the rally are cheaper than some of the competitors and offer way more ! There’s lots of trees and It’s always a tad bit cooler then anywhere else so while everyone else is still hot in the evening, your sitting and relaxing by the campfire! Great dog park and plenty of space for your cargo trailer if you brought all your toys. They’ve added some cool patios and great fire pits… check out all the great improvements on their web site.. Can’t say enough good stuff about this place ! 1st class 💯!

We absolutely loved our stay at Larson’s Crooked Creek Resort in Hill City! The location is perfect—tucked away in a peaceful, scenic area but still close to all the main attractions in the Black Hills. The RV park is beautifully laid out and thoughtfully designed. You can tell a lot of care and planning went into making this a comfortable, welcoming place for travelers. The sites are spacious and well-maintained, and the entire park feels organized and inviting. The amenities are top-notch—everything you could possibly need is here. The bathrooms and showers were spotless during our stay, which we really appreciated. And the quiet atmosphere made it easy to relax and unwind after a day of exploring. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone traveling through the area. A true gem in the Black Hills!
