We stopped at this KOA for one night. GPS took us in no problem. First note though, the road leading to the KOA is terribly rough. We drove very slowly and it still was jarring. Entry to the campground is well marked and very open. The gentleman at the counter at check in was very friendly and efficient. Our site was clean and level. We travel with a 21 foot pickup and 35 foot fifth wheel. We had no problems negotiating ourselves into our site. The 50-amp power at the pole was “clean”. We did not use any other connections at the site. This campground was very quiet. Of note at this KOA is they offer for a fee, a hot breakfast in the morning. I think it was $7.99 a person but I don’t remember for sure. We did not partake as they don’t start serving until I think it was 7 or 8AM, but this is a nice touch for a KOA Journey! My only complaint and the only reason I did not give this KOA 5 stars is the signage for departure. We departed in the dark. There are signs for “Big Rig Exit” but they are very difficult to read in the dark with just headlights on. We got confused and basically got lost in the campground. In the dark. It took us awhile to figure it out but new exit signage would have made this KOA an outstanding place to stop for the night!

We stayed here a couple years ago in a tent site and had a great time. The staff were awesome and the home cooked hot breakfast was very good. It is a little run down looking, some paint and general maintenance would help.

This is a nice property. Lots of amenities and the location is beautiful . The staff is fantastic. The breakfast is wonderful. I usually stay in a cabin. I have been to this location twice. Its really unfortunate that the owner/manager has noisy dogs . Both times I've been here, the dogs are outside and bark non-stop while the owner is gone. Even though I love everything else, the barking is probably going to be a deal breaker for me. :-(

I have never stayed at a KOA before and honestly had no idea what to expect. But this was just like a normal campground. The people that work here are really nice and friendly! I felt super safe. It’s a little 60’s style but thats okay. The sunrise was beautiful and i slept like a baby despite hearing the highway. Otherwise it’s hidden from the frontage road so you have privacy. But i would stay here again. it’s also very quiet at 10pm like it should be. People respect the quiet hours! They have a game room with a pool table Dog run Nature trail Bathrooms and showers Pretty good breakfast Ice cream for sale Gift shop very safe! Two cute cats! Staff is very friendly and kind and helpful! Pool Fireplace kid playground Pull up bars Laundry

This campground has a lot of potential. Very comfortable and safe. Peaceful, good bird watching. Great views sitting outside in the early mornings and evenings. Good power and water. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our pull through space was very unlevel, still made it work, and utility placement was skewed making it difficult to fit the trailer and truck. A couple of things for management to consider (1) bathrooms, while clean, need a total remodel. (2) placement of the playground and recreation area adjacent to and on top of the septic field does not encourage usage. (3) pool appeared to be clean but needs a remodel also, the area isn’t attractive. We didn’t see anyone using the pool or rec areas while we were there. Common patio/deck area is it at the entrance and needs attention to improve initial impressions. Poorly stocked and unkempt camp store. Not a bad campground and it met our needs, just see a lot of potential given the great location.

We stayed 2 nights, they have a few spots that are big rig friendly and they do a breakfast every morning and it was great. The problem is the owner and reason being is he had his dog running loose over the park. I had went in to let them know there was a dog loose and the guy said it was his dog and said it was friendly, he said he wasn’t going to put on a leash or put back in house. The rule on dogs is it must be on a leash and not be left unattended outside. It goes for everyone but him. There was a argument between me and him and he threatened to throw us out. My wife was walking our dog when his dog started to approach. They don’t enforce rules of leaving dogs tied up and barking with long leash lines

Very nice KOA, definitely 5 stars. Very nice shower house, water was adequate, showers were warm very clean. Dog park. Very nice breakfast before our departure, didn't have to worry about dishes or making coffee in the morning.

We stayed extended stay for 13 weeks. The campground is very clean and large spots. Most spots have shrubbery to make it feel private. Did not get to try the pool as it was out of season. Our specific site was large enough to park 2 vehicles beside our camper. Staff are overly friendly and very helpful with all your needs. Wifi is the usual for campgrounds. There is no Verizon signal but AT&T and T Mobile full bat 5 G. Interstate noise is very minimal. Would definitely recommend.

Nice campground! Great location with trees at each site. Very clean restrooms/showers. Susan is the nicest person you'd ever want to meet and she makes a great breakfast if you don't want to cook your own. Easy reservation change when weather delayed our original arrival date and easy check-in after hours. Not our first time and won't be our last!!

Nice place to stay for a night or two or a week. The people working there are great! The breakfast was fantastic! The water pressure was great (they use a gravity system). Close enough to town for supplies and groceries. The sites are mostly level but graveled.
