...and honestly i cant believe i almost drove right past this place it was such a good find. The service was genuinely warm and made the whole thing feel personal like they actually wanted you to enjoy your time there. Prices were super reasonable too which was unexpected for a spot that clearly puts so much care into everything seriously it's rare to find a balance that good. I grabbed a coffee and something to eat and it was all so fresh, it actually kind of made my day because i wasn't expecting much after a long drive. Already planning my next trip back thats how much i loved it, definitely a highlight from my visit to Chester.

I stopped in to get a campfire permit and general information. He was friendly, efficient, patient, and helpful. He went above and beyond to print a "Trees of Lassen National Forest" for me, because there were none in the display rack. They were both interested in my requests. Very enjoyable.

I stopped in and asked where the eagles congregated on Lake Almanor, and got great answers.
