Great place to stop and stretch your legs, and let the kids burn off some energy. Restrooms were clean and easy to change the boys, even the 10yr old. Got to keep seats dry incase they fall asleep 😴

Lots of adorable chipmunks around the rest area! The signs say not to feed the wildlife because it makes them dependent on humans. I'm not sure if that's true.

One of the only stops on the way to Reno. Stop here for the bathroom and it has a pet area. Restroom is heated during the winter so its awesome! Great place to stretch, always clean.

This place is very pretty, but had no cell service . Was a good place to stop and walk around for my 30 minute break.

Update on 10 June 2021. Once again stopped at the Bogard Rest Area. It was very clean and well maintained. It is a good place to have a picnic and you and your pets strch your legs. Easy of and on the Hwy. It is always a good stop to stretch your legs and empty your bladder. It is always clean.

Always clean and well cared for, and compared to other rest areas I've been to up and down the West Coast it surprisingly had a nice picnic area as well as a nice size pet area to take your fur babies to 2hen 4heyve been couped up in the car for a long ride.. not to mention a Pretty nice place to let the kiddos run around fora bit to get a little energy out. Actually one of the best we've been to by far...

Spent a night there. I was the only one there. The road in to the south is better. Don't let Google maps take you on the north entrance by the rest stop unless you have a sturdy car.

Beautiful rest area! Really clean, very organized and easy to get on and off the highway to use. It is in a high mountain setting and had snow on the ground when we visited mid April, but the weather was fantastic and the grounds are very well maintained.

Its a bit neglected and has water to drink :) and its open no one around here :p
