We started out staying for 6nigjts and extended for 6 more. Our spot was Shady with trees right on the river. It was gorgeous. It was pretty busy but peaceful. The owner and his wife were very helpful. The campground is great for seniors and for families. It has full hookups with dumping station at each site. There is a laundry. There is a billiards room as well. The grounds are kept very nice. The showers and toilets are clean even though they are older. But the water power is great in the showers. My only complaint is that they are not ADA accessible. I told the owner that putting in handrails on the stairs to the showers would be helpful for older campers. I had to have my family assist me up the steps as I am an amputee.( No ramp). To his credit he did acknowledge that it would be a good idea. Our experience there was really good and we will be back as I have family here in Cave Junction. We have returned 1month later and they put a hand mrailing up by the stairs to the restroom/showers. Thank you so much !!!

This place was actually ok for a one night stay. It has fhu on fairly level gravel/dirt sites and roads. Nice trees for some shade. We saw 3 llamas there. It's on a fork of the Illinois river. The bathrooms had old plumbing, but were functional and very clean. Our AT&T cell service was ok, but not great. Wifi was good. Lady in the office was very nice.

It was our first time staying at an RV park, so don’t have anything to compare it to. The facility is a little out of dated but it was keep very clean. The employees are super nice and helpful. It’s right next to the highway so there is a lot of road noise during the day, but really drops off at night. The little river that runs behind the park is a perfect way to escape the heat. We definitely would stay there again if we were in the area.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Laughing Alpaca! This place has everything you could need: full hookups, clean showers, reliable WiFi, onsite laundry, and one of the best river access spots we’ve found for swimming and cooling off. The campground has a funky, welcoming vibe and everything is super clean and well maintained. It’s perfectly located if you’re visiting the Oregon Caves or exploring the Cave Junction area. Whether you're in an RV, trailer, or tent, this is a fantastic place to post up. It feels like a hidden oasis, peaceful, practical, and just fun. Highly recommend it if you're heading through southern Oregon!

This is not a resort style campground. It has many long-term residents who keep the bills paid during the non tourist season. The sites are adequate, with the main area sharing a fire pit. The grass at this time of year was very green. Water, 50amp, and sewage. 40. Dollars a night is extremely reasonable. I have a 33-foot 5th wheel and had no issue parking in the main loop. Not huge What shines about this place is the management. When I arrived and asked questions about the Oregon Caves, he answered, and we moved our spot, so if we did get to visit them, we could stay past the checkout time. We asked about firewood, and he donated some for us to have a campfire. I highly suggest this place for a great value for your money, and feeling that your equipment is safe
