Very clean, quiet, nice campground. Family friendly, has kids' playgrounds. Nice small parks to walk around. Boat launch, small but deep beach, good for kayaking, charming 'vintage village' camping trailers to rent. Laundry facility, restaurant nearby. The cons for me were that the majority of campsites face away from the water and they do not offer monthly rates, with a minimum of 2 months. The Jacuzzi had some issues, but they fixed it; the water in the pool looked a bit cloudy. Overall, it's a beautiful campsite, pricey but nice.

We stayed at Launch Pointe in Lake Elsinore the weekend of 12/5/2025 with family and friends, renting four yurts total. My family stayed in the Lodge Yurt, which is located closest to the Bait & Tackle shop. There were several things we appreciated about the Lodge Yurt. The Lodge Yurt was spacious enough to comfortably accommodate four adults and a baby. The heater and A/C worked well, having a fridge was convenient, and we appreciated that clean linens and towels were provided—these details showed that care is put into the accommodations. That said, the pull-out couch was extremely uncomfortable to sleep on. There was also an issue with the Rock ’n’ Roll Yurt: the lighting was very inadequate. It was so dim that it was difficult to see inside, even during the evening, and we ultimately had to rely on headlamps just to move around comfortably. This made the space impractical, particularly for families and young toddlers. Unfortunately, our overall experience fell short of expectations due to factors outside the accommodations themselves—primarily noise. We had hoped for a relaxing weekend getaway, but each night we slept fewer than 6 hours. The proximity of the Lodge Yurt to the Bait & Tackle shop resulted in significant late-night noise from foot traffic, along with nearby road noise. The yurts also offer very little sound insulation, making it difficult to rest once the area became active. The most challenging part of the stay occurred on the second night when a live concert played from approximately 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., featuring rock/heavy metal music. The volume was extremely loud, and while we were understanding at first, the prolonged noise made it difficult to relax, have conversations, or rest. We had elderly family members who struggled to hear anything other than the music, and our young children—who normally go to bed around 7 p.m.—were unable to sleep until much later due to the noise. This made the evening especially difficult for our group. Anyone with small kids knows that overtired children are not exactly part of a “relaxing getaway.” One highlight of the stay was the nearby parks and playgrounds, which were excellent for children and something we genuinely enjoyed during the daytime. Had we known in advance about the concert and the level of noise associated with staying so close to the Bait and Tackle shop, we would have planned differently or selected a different location. Unfortunately, there was no disclaimer or advance notice during booking, which left us unprepared for what became a disruptive weekend. Overall, I wouldn’t return and can’t recommend this location unless you’re fully prepared for significant noise. Maybe we came on the wrong weekend, but there absolutely should have been a disclaimer during booking about concerts and late-night activity - especially for guests staying so close to the Bait and Tackle shop. If peace and quiet is what you’re after, this may not be the place.

Absolutely beautiful! Especially at night. You see ALL the stars! Live music at the Bobber was cool. We stayed for 2 weeks and the water pressure sucks - whether it's their shower or your own...

Jazz and her team are Top Notch when it comes to event venues! Her quick responses and valuable insight helps to plan an event much easier! Launch Pointe is truly a hidden gem and a MUST see! Having the ability to reserve all of the airstreams for after our event, is something we are looking forward too! Check them out!!

My Husband and I took a mini vacation at Launch Pointe and it was wonderful. That staff was top notch and extremely helpful. We stayed 3 nights in one of the vintage trailers which was well equipped and comfortable. The area was serene, well maintained and safe. We really didn't want to leave. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable

We were the only people renting the Yurts on the resort, so it was quite. The location of the Yurts were right next to dumpsters and the flys were insufferable, so trying to sit outside on the deck was a pain, even with lots of bug spray. The Yurt we were in was not wheelchair accessible. It was not disclosed on the website. The photos online made it look like it was accessible so we didnt feel the need to call. There are step in the front and out the back leading to the bathroom. When i went to the pool my foot got irritated and some to find out I contracted Atheltes foot, so I would recommend against using their pool. Also, the last day we were there, 4 hours before our checkout, 3 maintenence men walked into our Yurnt unannounced while my baby cousin and I were still inside. Come to find out (they didnt know someone was in the restroom and overheard this) they knew we were inside, they saw the vehicle, and still entered the Yurt after fully acknowledging that we were inside. Then proceeded to talk trash about us for 20 minutes outside the Yurt. I immediately packed us up and left not feel safe anymore. It does get hot inside during the day, if its 100° outside its 80 inside, so make sure you have things to do. On the upside I enjoyed the firepit that was right outside.

Brought our young grandsons in mid June and had a fantastic time! Between the grass fields, fishing at lake, playing at the playground and splash pad... The kiddos were never bored and slept well through the night! I am teaching them to ride bikes and this is a great campground for that! Can't wait to bring them again!!!

Large RV sites big rig friendly, very clean and secure. The staff were very helpful to accommodate us and park our car trailer.

I used the RV Park and it was amazing. Check in was effortless albeit a bit concerning because you sign a pretty steep liability waiver to stay at the RV Park that basically says whatever happens while you are there you are on you own and waive all rights against the Park and the City of Lake Elsinore…a tough way to start your stay. The views and early morning walks are worth the price of admission and the staff is extremely helpful. If you have a Class A RV, leaving is quite narrow so take your time exiting. All and all, a wonderful RV Park and I look forward to my next stay.

Oasis in Lake Elsinore. The campground is very clean and well maintained. Sites are on hard-packed gravel with privacy fences between them. They have a lot of security with access gates that are attended by guards and they require campers to wear a colored wristband like you get at a concert for being old enough to buy alcoholic drinks. We didn't want to actually wear them, but I kept them in my wallet incase we were challenged while walking the property. The security maybe necessary to keep undesirables from the town out of the park - but we never saw any problem in the town and we went out there frequently to shop and eat. WiFi was good enough for email, but not streaming so we had to use the 5G connection. There are nice playgrounds for the kids with lots of room to run around.

We had an amazing experience here at Launch Pointe for our baby shower/gender reveal! The venue is beautifully maintained, and the presence of security guards gave us peace of mind throughout the event. Our event manager, Jazz, was outstanding. She guided us seamlessly from planning to execution, always being responsive and accommodating to our requests and questions. McKenna, who was there on the day of the event, was also fantastic and extremely helpful. Overall, we have a very positive experience and couldn't be happier with our choice of venue. Highly recommend!!
