My wife and I are from Texas, just north of Austin . We stayed here in July 2024 for two weeks and again in July 2025 for three weeks in our Class A diesel pusher. We absolutely love this campground. The ladies in the front office are super nice . They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was pleasant. The camp ground is well maintained with plenty of space and amenities , plus the kids had a blast. The kids loved the pool and the catch and release lake the most.We look forward to staying here again next year. If you want to kick back and just relax this is the place.

Enjoyed our stay here. The first time we visited our stay was for a week. The next time we were here 6 days. Both times we had a wonderful experience. They offer full hookups with several drive thru spaces. Campsites were big and spacious. I did not feel as if I was packed in like sardines. Plenty of room to park your vehicle. Had a nice playground an pool for the kids. The campground was quite and had a nice feel about it. The staff was very helpful and also had on-site staff. Will definitely recommend it!

From making the reservation on the phone with Jody to checking in with Vicky, everything was super easy. The staff here are very friendly and knowledgeable and very helpful. Had an issue with electrical hookup and Vicky provided an adapter which I did not have to solve the problem. Also I would like to recommend this campground if you have dogs because their dog run is awesome. Pool area and shower house well kept and clean. I would definitely recommend this place to travelers.

Stayed here twice for an extended period of time and absolutely loved it. During our current stay Jodi at the office has been absolutely amazing and very informative. She and her dog Daisy would visit us during our morning coffee and have a great conversation. We will miss them as we continue our travels. Would recommend this place for a long term or just a few days.

Our family had a fantastic experience at Spacious Skies Sandy Run! As a large military family tent camping for four nights, we truly appreciated how well-maintained the campground was—especially the spotless bathhouses. From the start, Jodi was incredibly friendly and helpful, even recommending other Spacious Skies locations for future trips. Vicky, the manager, impressed us with her hard work and dedication, and Donna made the booking process smooth and pleasant with her welcoming attitude. Our kids had a blast enjoying the pool, jumping pillow, gem mining, and playground. Fishing was a hit for the whole family—we reeled in several crappie and even a bass! The outdoor movies and free snow cones were a thoughtful touch that made our stay even more memorable. We wholeheartedly recommend this hidden gem in Fayetteville, NC to families looking for a fun and relaxing getaway. Thank you to the entire team for your warm hospitality—we’ll definitely be sending others your way!

Excellent Campground. Easily accessible 2 miles off of I-95. Lazy Acres has everything you'll need for a fantastic stay. Very nice cement patio with a beautiful built-in brick fire ring. Picnic table included on site.

****Updated in regards to owners response At Lazy Acres the office is open until 6 pm for check in on Sundays. When we made the reservations I let them know we would be in between 5 and 530 pm on Sunday 3/20. At 520 pm (40 minutes prior to closing), as we are pulling into the road before the camp entrance, I'm receiving a call from the host on duty asking where we were. We arrived a moment later at the office to check in. The host on duty was gruff, almost rude, and did not want to answer questions. She made the first impression of the camp unwelcoming and cold. The gentleman who showed us to our site was friendlier and informative. The grounds are clean but sparse/lacking in curb appeal. Hiking trail and pond were nice, relaxing, and very pleasant. Roads are sometimes hard to distinguish due to lack of markings. Bathhouse and laundry are clean and functional. The noise level was higher then I would normally like, but not intolerable. Campground is located near highway and airport. * Updated portion- originally called the gentleman a host* Some gentleman, whose camp site was located to the immediate right of the office and who was seen using the golf carts that seem to be for host/employee use, appeared to be watching everyone all the time. He would pace in front of his camper door. Just going to the bathhouse I felt like I was being watched by the gentleman. He was also seen quickly getting into a golf cart and driving after a camper who had a pizza delivered to the exit gate. Over all the camp was nice. Not sure I would stay again due to the many strict rules and the feeling of being watched. I felt like if we accidentally did something imperfect we would be charged a fee or asked to leave. The hosts who were on duty Monday 3/21 and Tuesday 3/22(her name was Susan, I believe, didn't catch his name), were wonderful. They were friendly, informative, and helpful. Those two would be the reason we would consider coming again. They embody a welcoming feeling.
