The campground was beautiful and my family loved it. It was clean and quite. But we will NOT be back, the campground host was so rude. She acted as if she was better than me and my family. Within 10 minutes of getting there she came to our camp site and quite literally screamed at us because we hadn’t picked up our parking pass yet. I witnessed her being rude to other guest multiple times throughout our time there. when at the pool 2 other guest complained to us about her because she was rude to them.

This place used to be nice back in 2020. Now the management that live on the premises are extremely rude, unthoughtful, and act as if they are better than everyone else. They're never at the office when someone tries to check in, and they have told us that they have a working card reader, but refuse to allow us to use it. They never pick up the phone and they never alert us to changes in the policies or campground. The water is randomly turned off at random points and the electricity is just as unreliable. The bathrooms are absolutely disgusting and almost never get cleaned any more, and if they do there is still trash and dirt on the floor. The showers are beginning to produce mold and management is doing nothing to solve it or contain it. I have lived here for years and have treated everyone with respect and kept my site clean, but management is extremely rude to us, and most others. The only redeeming quality is that it is next to the national park and Cades cove. Never come here when there are any spots open in neighboring campgrounds such as KOA, Mountaineer campground, or little arrow campground. Never come here, as it is becoming a pit of despair.

A nice little campground right on the creek. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and staff was friendly. We upgraded our site to be right on the creek which was worth it. Pros - walking distance to restaurants, distillery, heritage center and tubing. - clean facilities including bathrooms, laundry and pool - great creek access - friendly staff - shaded, mature trees Cons - sites were very close to each other, not much room or privacy - a lot of long term residents, some of which had run down campers

We camp here annually. Small campground, clean rest rooms. Sites are a little tight but it is close to everything we love to do in the mountains.

Like every camp ground it was boring. The staff is absolutely 2-faced. Don't allow them to do anything nice for you cause they'll use it against you

How should I start….. I made reservations for four nights about 3 weeks before I was due to arrive. The day before I was due to arrive they canceled my reservations, 40 minutes later they called back again because they just so happen to have a spot for us. “ Someone had checked out early” , so upon our arrival, they did not express a check in time but when we got there they said it would be at least another hour before our spot was ready. OK we drove through the park, came out the other side, noticed it was full of full-time campers and very trashy. Some campers had privacy fences around their campers and the spot they tried to put us in , my camper would’ve never fit in there. When reservations were made I told them I had a 34ft fifth wheel with 3 slides and l crew cab F350. The one they were trying to put me in was even smaller than the original. So fortunately we found somewhere else to camp at the last minute and had to lose almost $250.00. I did express my feelings towards them and they seem not to care and told me to just leave. I do believe you see four and five stars but I believe it’s the full-time people that are staying there just giving them reviews no sensible camper would ever give them any stars. the only reason I gave them one is so I could write this review which probably will not stay long hopefully some people will see it. They did have one employee that did try to help and she was really nice and actually was genuinely sorry for all that happened bit the managers could care less. Their pictures on the website are VERY deceiving. The office looked really good just don’t go passed it!! The manager also tried to tell me that all the sites were 40foot, i should ha e got my tape measure out to prove her wrong. Maybe all the RIVER sites ( may 8 of the 10) but the rest were trashy and extremely smaller.

We had such an amazing time at this campground! We travel a lot and this was by far the friendliest staff and guest. Campground church services were outstanding. We enjoyed the river behind the camp grounds. Lots to do nearby. Close to Cades Cove. Already making plans to come back. Thank you!

Stayed here at the first of spring. Campground is fairly quiet, camping spaces are plenty big enough, nice foliage coverage for shade, pool and playground for the kids and the facilities are pretty good too. Depending on who you get the staff can be brush but, overall a good experience. We will be back.
