Close to downtown Duval St. Key West. It is about a 20 minute ride. The resort has a pool, food truck, lounge areas, showers, and BBQ area. We stayed in an airstream. It was just the right size for the two of us. The bed was more comfortable than I expected. The bathroom was updated and had plenty of hot water. I would recommend staying here.

Absolutely spectacular. We had the best time. The place is very clean. Has all the amenities you need showers kayaks included. We had the best time. The staff is amazing.

Our first time here and we stayed in one of the Airstream rentals with our dogs. I can’t say enough great things about this place!! Besides the amazing location, the airstream was nicer than many hotels I’ve stayed in. And Trish in the front office is an absolute sweetheart and was so helpful with directions for our late check in. We can’t wait to come back!!

A hidden gem in the Florida keys - A perfect stay. This place is truly a hidden gem in the Florida Keys. The kind of spot you will want to return to again and again. The location was the first thing that is good out: peaceful, quiet, and perfect for a relaxing gateway. Everything was spotless and well organized, which made us feel right at home from the start. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They truly treated us like family. It is rare to find that level even more special. We absolutely loved our time here and are already looking forward to coming back. To the team: you are doing an amazing job. Keep it up !!!.

Both stays were great! Cozy, clean, quiet place. At first I couldn't find the hair dryer, which was promptly provided! As a suggestion, put curtains on the windows, for greater comfort in the mornings! Thank you Adriana

Amazing peaceful campgrounds with great amenities. Extremely helpful staff and Trish will not disappoint with her food and activity recommendations. All staff very personable and helpful. Stayed here a week with friends and felt very safe secure and relaxed. Campground is immaculate and easy to accommodate. Great little spot I would definitely return to and recommend! About a 20 min drive to Key West which worked out great. Thank you Sun Sugarloaf for the awesome week!

These cottages are cute, comfortable, and in a fantastic location! It's a short-ish drive to Key West (a couple islands away). The restaurants on Sugarloaf Key and nearby islands are particularly good for the Keys. Bahia Honda State Park is about 45 minutes north from Sun Outdoors. Again, great location for snorkeling, SCUBA, kayaking, and walking/hiking. The parking is a bit awkward considering cottages are located in an RV campground. But there's a nice walking trail around the marshes. My doggo was allowed to stay in the cottage too!

Stayed here recently for a week and enjoyed it a lot. Our site was a little challenging to back into but there were two employees helping and it was no problem at all. The site was well maintained and we felt very comfortable there. Nice laundry and shower facilities. Not too far from Key West and Marathon Key which we visited while there.

I'm so disappointed with our experience here. We called and left a message at the resort the day before our arrival to see if we could come a day early, but we didn’t get a reply until the next day. When they called, they apologized for the delay and explained that their entire cleaning staff had called out, so they had to clean each room themselves. We understood and stuck to our regular check-in time. When we arrived, our room was very dirty. There was a half-used roll of toilet paper left on the holder, used pads in the bathroom trash can, ants everywhere, the lights under the bed didn’t work, the couches were too gross to sit on, and random items were left behind by the previous guests. We were disappointed, to say the least, but we cleaned up as best we could and made do. Today, more than 24 hours after check-out, they called to tell us there was a cleaning fee added to our account. They said there was “damage” from our dogs to the room and that the couch was stained. This is egregious. They sent us photos of the “damage” and “dirty couch,” none of which was done by us. We are very upset and hope that they clear up this issue as soon as possible.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Lazy Lakes and the fantastic people Robin & Robert that run it. It was everything we hoped for, easy going, laid back, clean & simple and everyone was so kind. Close enough to all yet far away from it all as well, perfect balance. We definitely want to return next winter and can’t wait to see the updates when we get back! So exciting! Thank you and we can’t wait to see you again ! 💫✌️

Stayed January thru February 2022 So many updates coming , Pool was great to catch the sun Robin , Robert, Terry always helpful ! Super Bowl pitch in was so good , lots of participants and good food . Can’t wait till remodel We will be back 🥰

It won't be Lazy Lakes much longer, but while we stayed there it was already under the new management and they were/ are fantastic. We stayed there for just about three months and look forward to staying there again. Great RV campground!

Lazy Lakes is a great Keysy campground. Quiet , friendly, and close to Key West. Robin, Robert, and Terry are so accommodating and professional. The pool is rarely crowded and campers always greet you with smile. Can’t wait to get back there!

We have been coming for 6 years here. Great place, ole way resort. Quiet. Enjoyable. May not have all the frills of big corporate but this place is awesome too stay at. When all the upgrades are done it will be even better.
